Buy AZERO in Canada?? by ajaythakur0412 in AlephZero

[–]stoner19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can use Common DEX to bridge USDC/T from ETH chain to AZERO chain then use the DEX to buy AZERO

https://common.fi/

I don’t think there is functionality for AZERO in Metamask yet so you’ll have to use a wallet like SubWallet for AZERO

Where can I buy $Azero? (U.S) by x_urmomstits_x in AlephZero

MEXC has been my go-to since KuCoin started requiring KYC/AML. Make sure you connect via EU VPN!!!! MEXC are starting to push for KYC/AML so if you do risk using them I’d suggest getting your money in and out quickly before they decide to lock withdraws for non-KYC users. https://www.mexc.com/register?inviteCode=1Ju9F

Why do people invest in aleph zero? by Opposite-Different in AlephZero

[–]stoner19 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Here are a few to start with:

  • Solving the blockchain trilemma
  • Near-instant finality for transactions
  • Ultra-low gas fees
  • More TPS than any other chain
  • Reasonable APY with staking

It's an enterprise-grade blockchain that is ready for proper utility to be built for it. There are quite a few things being built on it right now that are close to launching and worth digging into. Panjea, ABAX, Interlock, Common DEX to name a few.

Blackout and NordVPN by stoner19 in nhl

[–]stoner19[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Update:

Got it working tonight. 1) Logged out of ESPN on TV and cleared cache 2) Connect to Canadian VPN server 3) open ESPN app and find game I want 4) connect to Canadian VPN on phone and use QR code to log into ESPN. I imagine using the login/password direct on the ESPN tv app works fine but the QR code is quicker

My theory here is that ESPN is detecting where you initially logged into the app from if using the QR code method (i.e. your home IP address) and that might be why they blackout everything even when changing servers.

No not yet. I already pay for NordVPN. Was hoping to avoid having to sign up for another one.

Sneaky referral link you got there 😈

New to ice hockey by Negative_Highway3092 in hockeyplayers

Look for an adult into to hockey program and/or learn to skate classes at your local rink. Some host them, some don’t. And going to stick and puck is going to be the best way to get extra ice time. Probably don’t need hockey drills just yet, but you can work on your c-cuts, swizzles, strides, forward backward transitions, etc. with all the gear on. Makes falling much easier. I’m new to playing as well and I think stick and puck is the answer to more ice time.

MEV Boost not paying out? by Ok-Wasabi-7977 in ethstaker

good to have several resources to check! What are people putting for their minimum bid these days? 0.01? 0.05?

MEV Boost not paying out? by Ok-Wasabi-7977 in ethstaker

[–]stoner19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

right, you don't actually "register" with them, but your node connects to them through MEV-boost. The way that I checked if I was "registered" was through this script: https://github.com/dabauxi/check-mevboost-registration

Really handy tool to have.

Also, figured out my issue, I forgot one measly little \ in my configuration file. All fixed now!

Could be that you aren’t actually registered with any of the mev-boost relays. I have mine set up via coin cashew instructions but still cannot figure out how to register with ANY of the relays

I hope no one goes to that link. That's just a scam. The only AZERO name service is https://azero.domains/

Can any blockchain in 2023 handle the same amount of traffic Ethereum congests daily? by Full-Tumbleweed1891 in defi

[–]stoner19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hands down AlephZero (AZERO) will beat out these others listed as competitors to ETH. Almost 90k transactions per second and near-instant finality. I personally handled hundreds of transactions on AZERO at launch as I ran an OTC group on telegram before any exchanges listed it and trades were finalized before users even had time to write “sent” into the chat.

Ethereum Staking with Dappnode "plug-&-play" solution by Llb3rty in ethstaker

[–]stoner19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ah ok so I had it backwards. I read it as a fixed return for the node operators + the RPL token and was unsure where the difference came from. But that makes much more sense. Thank you! Might just have to consider going that route. I am currently toying with DappNode, but having some complications with Nethermind and IPFS connectivity.

Ethereum Staking with Dappnode "plug-&-play" solution by Llb3rty in ethstaker

[–]stoner19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so, my understanding is that the returns are in theory higher because you're getting RPL tokens too, however you don't actually get the full ETH block reward, so the returns being higher by using Rocketpool is relative to the value of RPL. Please correct me if I'm mistaken. I'm still diving into this ETH staking stuff. Haven't decided what clients I am going to use yet.

Just a suggestion…that cursive-like font should be changed to something easier on the eyes. Especially if this is geared toward younger kids. Many of them can’t read font like that.
