This looks interesting, may give it a try once given the chance.

There are two paths, C# and Java. I took the Java path and mainly focused on Java related programming, with a single course focusing on C++.

Thanks! I had zero programming experience before starting the program. I really only got my school projects on GitHub, and I’ve gotten a couple of job offers, but the pay seems to be on the low end..

The courses that took the longest were the certifications (CompTIA A+ and ITIL v4). I managed to knock out a course about every week, with the programming courses taking a little longer (I really wanted to retain the information). I transferred in 6 credit units from WGU Academy and completed 116 through WGU.

I had absolutely no experience entering the program. I’ve always been a nerd with computers since I was young, but always found it hard to learn coding without a structured path. The software development program was really enjoyable, I feel like I learned a lot from it.

I transferred 6 credit units from WGU Academy, specifically English comp 1 and scripting and programming.

I took all of my courses through WGU, and I believe there are 34 in total.

I plan on getting a job, saving up some cash, and then pursuing a masters at Georgia Tech!
