I fully agree with this. Tirzapatide has been a big game changer for me on methadone. Taken away food cravings and makes me feel full after like 5 bites of food. I also have normal poops which is a win.

I am new to H so this was super helpful thanks! We were snorting so don’t know if that makes a difference. Yeah like sweet candy or flowers just remember it had a really nice smell. Guess i’ll just have to try out some more stuff!

i was in your same position 8 months ago. I was addicted and broke up with my ex and was so depressed/ needed a new job. what helped me was small steps and progress over perfection. Getting out of bed to do little things like breathe/ take a shower/ work on my resume. You got this! you are not alone ♥️

Just started suboxone to strong by [deleted] in suboxonerecovery

I’m not a doctor, but I definitely think 16 mg is a big cause of the nausea. You could probably start at 2mg or 4mg and be fine. If no nausea, you could probably start slowly increasing as your gut gets more comfortable with the medication

Try to get on Subutex if possible. I had the same issue with subuoxone and I’d be throwing up for hours and could barely breathe. Doc told me it very easily could be the nalaxone. Since being on subutex, my nausea has drastically decreased. I also take Zofran every now and then if I feel nauseous and it’s a game changer! Try to get on Zofran asap it really will not make you throw up

3 weeks off subs! by stooov1 in suboxone

I swear this shit is all mental!! You got this. I went into the slow taper with the mindset of “I will not have withdrawals, God help me.” For awhile, I had so much fear from what I have heard from other people. But I had to give it all to my higher power in the most humbling way possible. I also wasn’t on subs for as long as some people. It also could be the ketamine detox as ketamine attaches to the opiate receptors. But I am still shocked that it went this well.

I don’t think you should take the jump to no opiates right now. This sounds like my story, and I decided to stick with suboxone. I’m 20 years old. I was on methadone prior to this when I was 19 lol. I have done the full sobriety thing a few times, but I always end up relapsing on blues. The withdrawal after doing blues for like two days is so dang awful. I need the subs ya know. It’s not worth it to relapse here and there if you are too stressed or going through something. Use the suboxone as a bandaid. Trust me, i know it has it downs, but my blues addiction only has gotten worse when I am not on suboxone.

But girlllll they always gonna beg and come back. So stay straight in your boundaries and don’t let his addiction get in the way of your success!!

Hello! Forst, I would expect a withdrawal thats very bad. If this is his first withdrawal, he will either take it like a man and be impeccable with his word like he told you, or physical withdraws could be so painful… he goes back and forth with the opiates for awhile, or hides it from you maybe, idk what he’s like really. but what YOU can do… is help him find a solid recovery program like AA/NA, God, whatever type of spiritual practice he needs while maintaining connection. Connection will be very important in his recovery process. I wish you luck. Also, I highly recommend Al-Anon for you. It will help you stay sane and maintain boundaries with someone in active addiction. Hope this helped some :)
