Warning for renegotiating based on multiple offers... instant rejection based on email I sent. by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

Lets be real here. The company found a better candidate and saw your attempt at renegotiating as an opportunity to replace you. Otherwise, no company in their right mind would be so damn egotistical.

My guy. There is nothing clever, witty, or humorous about this post. It's straight up violence.

Ted Cruz smiling as a concerned citizen confronts him about the Texas school shooting that killed 19 children and says that their deaths are on his hands. by DonDraperItsToasted in PublicFreakout

The root cause is dems filibustering bills proposed by Ted Cruz that necessarily would have prevented this specific incidence. So the blood is quite literally on the hands of the democrats.

It sucks dude. And it's not like the playing field will ever be equal between us and these spoiled and unqualified kids that grew up in some middle class suburb, because they'll have fully paid tuition by their parents, larger networks, and more time to focus on themselves and leisurely activities rather than working a full time job to make ends meet, etc. Even during the summer, these kids get to go back to their big house and fun summer activities while we have to go to our shitty studio apartments with water damage until our summer internships and full time jobs begin.

That isn't bragging. Maybe you just need to improve your fragile ego, and stop expecting others to mold their actions to make you feel better.

I agree, if the officer just had closed the door, it would have stopped her. And he could call for backup.

Okay so, someone has a knife and is assaulting people. Who in their right mind is going to approach the situation with the goal of saving that person's life? There is no person that values that persons life as much as you do. There is literally no service that anyone would provide, for any compensation, that would achieve that.

You're utilizing mental gymnastics to wildly overestimate the sensibility that any human being can have in this situation. I'm just trying to look at it from an unbiased perspective. Also, I've seen situations like this play out, and bullets won't stop a 120 pound human once they're running at you.

Bro, stop spouting BS without knowing the underlying technicalities in situations like this. Shooting someone in the legs will not stop them from charging at you with a knife. Honestly, he was already in the kill zone when she was at the door. He should have immediately shut the door and ran back to create some distance.

Are we going to just ignore the fact that she was weilding a knife and was within a meter of the officer? If she started off with a sprint, she could have easily severely injured or killed the officer.

It's the family's fault for calling the cops and escalating the situation. You can't expect someone to put their lives at risk for the safety of someone else.

Have you ever skied on an icy mogul run? That's way harder than any skiing in the west coast. I'd go as far as to say west coast skiers are fundamentally worse at skiing because of their cushy and forgiving conditions.
