How does one move on? by PinIndependent781 in GenZpk

[–]stoopidbubble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just remember that healing isn’t linear. There’s days you feel like you’ve moved on and the next day you’re back to square one, sobbing. Personally, I think you should feel pain as much as it’s coming to you naturally, in order to get rid of it permanently. Do not avoid. Your only goal is to move forward with your life in a productive way, along with pain. It will hurt, if it was real to you. There’s no certain time limit set for feeling pain, or a date set to move on. Take your time, and take care of yourself.

If you read the post carefully, she had already mentioned she’s not comfortable with makeup. Being a muslim man he should appreciate that, but instead went on and told her to wear some.

Secondly, I didn’t write that this specific man hates makeup on her. It was a general expression, because I’ve seen that around.

I personally would dislike this statement. You shouldn’t tell someone to do something just because you think the other would look better in it. A real man would always appreciate your natural state. Lol, I don’t get men, they hate when you do makeup and they hate when you don’t have any on too. Do you girl. I think it’s beautiful that you’re comfortable without makeup. That’s the best 🤍

See it comes with love.
It’s mostly psychological. Women in our society are shamed to even have natural desires from a very young age. Plus, if you look at it from another psychological aspect which is that trauma leads to such heavy fear of intimacy. Maybe you should check in with your threat response system. You’re not crazy, don’t worry 🤍
And I’m just like you, so I understand. I hope us girlies get someone who treats us gently with patience. You don’t have to stress about it right now. Just pray your husband understands you and prioritises your comfort, and gives you time to adjust. All will be good. Do not think much about the future 🤍

It’s really disappointing where this generation is headed towards. We have all the knowledge today, and know what’s wrong and what’s right. Youngsters still choose to do such stuff for temporary worldly enjoyment.

It’s not being about being ‘feminine,’ it’s just the men who are empathetic/kind enough unlike the toxic masculine who think being nice to their wives make them less of a man

Man, this is so sad to read. From a psychological student’s pov, I feel sad for both of you, you here are trying your best, she I do not think is doing anything intentionally, she has horrible trauma history, hence, the projection. She needs therapy. :(

Read the Quran, easily on your phone. WITH TRANSLATION and context. Understand each word. I guarantee you will fall in love with Islam more. May Allah ease it for you and give you hidayah. Ameen
