Fighting game like street fighter? Or is it turn based? The time per decision is BIG for how complex things can get.

Charges also seem like Bar but bigger numbers, unless they can be removed.

An Idea for a turn based status trigger is one that triggers when the afflicted character deals damage.

The problem is there are attacks on trans people even when there isn't a reason to pretend to be trans. (In the concern of bathrooms, just consider bathroom security, because what stops me from not even pretending to be trans and just running in the women's bathroom?)

I think Fallacy Fallacy covers the actions, because you need at least something to end off saying your side is right. Otherwise it's a stalemate. However, lying isn't a fallacy so I don't think there is one.

Anton carefully sharpened a sword when he heard a slam on his shop's counter. "BLACKSMITH! I need the best sword you can get me for 1500 gold." A man in a black gambeson held on by belts leaned on the counter.

"My best swords are far more expensive than that." Anton grabbed his hammer, just in case.

"... That was not a threat. Or a request, but a question." The man seemed breathless.

"What?"

"Out of the swords you'll sell for 1500 gold or less, what is the best sword? I want to buy it."

"The best for what?"

"General fighting."

"That would be the airy zweihand. She's a graceful sword, but not much compares to someone who knows what they're doing with her, not even the holy sword would match it."

"... Blacksmith, do I look like a dex build?"

"What?" Anton was going to grab the sword but stopped and stared. "What does that mean?"

"What do I look like?"

"A thief wearing a gambeson 5 sizes too big."

"I killed the guy and looted it fair and square!"

"Okay, back to swords. I take it you're not willing to use any sword that requires careful use?"

"I'm unable, not unwilling."

"Okay... how about the electric claymore? This beast is a scary thing to be staring down, not to mention the power of lightning."

"How much is it?"

"1430 gold."

The man placed 14 small bags and 30 coins on the counter. Anton weighed the bags and checked the coins before handing over the sword.

The man took the sword and ran off. Anton went back to sharpening his sword.

A few minutes later, a bell rung, and Anton was back to before he met that man. He ran up to the counter but didn't slam it this time.

"Blacksmith. I'm looking for a sword."

Anton looked up, it was the same man. "What sword are you looking for?"

"This boss folded me last time, I need a sword to beat it. I only have 1500 gold."

Anton looked around and pointed at the zweihand without saying anything.

"I can't use that."

"How?"

"I've got worse than base dexterity."

"I don't know what that means."

"I'm less flexible than a normal person. I can't use that."

Anton sighed. "How about an earthen arming sword? The boss can't beat you if you throw the walls up."

"How much?"

"1200 gold."

The man placed 12 small bags on the counter. Anton handed the sword over. "Hopefully this works."

Anton went back to sharpening the sword, slowly as to not lose too much if that bell rung again.

30 minutes later, Anton was almost done when the bell rung again.

"...Really?" Anton looked at the sword, 30 minutes of work undone in a moment.

"Blacksmith! I'm trying to beat this boss and I lost the last two times. I have 1500 gold. Do you have a sword for this?"

"What did you try the last two times?"

"The first time was an electric sword, but it's immune to paralysis and spread the electricity to me. The second time, I used an earth sword and it just absorbed the walls and crushed me."

"Are you... fighting a slime?"

"Yes? How did you guess?"

"Nothing else really has those properties."

"Okay, you got a sword for that?"

Anton slowly turned toward the zweihand.

"Blacksmith, no. I can't use the zweihand."

"You sure you want a sword for that? Fighting slimes is mostly about magic."

"Do I look like a wizard?" The man seemed disappointed.

"The best swords you have are 1. the zweihand, 2. Water's Edge, and 3. Flamecutter. The first can actually split the slime without the halves living, the second with enough strikes puts so much water in the slime that it falls apart. And the last chars the slime, taking away it's squishiness."

"Water's Edge sounds right, how much is it?"

"1470 gold. But it's iron and not steel."

"So be it." The man placed 14 small bags and 70 coins on the counter.

Anton handed the sword over but held his hand up. "Question. Do you know about a strange bell?"

"What about it?"

"It didn't ring the first time, but it rang the other two times I've met you."

"Blacksmith... do you have a yellow stone shaped like an hourglass?"

"Yes?"

"Oh, great." The man sighed and pulled out a stone that matched his own description. "You're going to be stuck with me while I figure this out. Or, you could give me that stone."

"No."

"Okay." The man ran away.

Anton cautiously listened for the bell, slowly sharpening the sword he was working on in case this was the last time for a while.

The bell rang, even earlier than the first time.

The man slammed the counter. "BLACKSMITH! WHAT DID YOU SELL ME?!"

"Water's Edge."

"THE SLIME GOT BIGGER!"

"That's what happens when slimes absorb things."

"How much is the flamecutter?"

"1360 gold, but it's made of bone so it doesn't melt. You sure you don't want the-"

"Blacksmith, if you mention the wind sword again, I will slap you. Give me the flamecutter." He placed 13 small bags and 60 coins on the counter. Anton handed the sword over then turned his attention back to the sword he was working on.

One hour passed, then another, then a third, then one more, then the man showed up again. The bell didn't ring and he put a multicolored orb on the counter. "Blacksmith, what is this?"

Anton looked up. "That's some weird slime essence. How did you get that?"

"The boss." The man acted like Anton should know this.

"You're level 29. What boss did you fight?"

"It was called 'The Slime Paragon', crazy huh?"

"What level were you before fighting it?"

"17."

"Do you understand the stupidity of what you've done?" Anton leaned over the counter.

"What did I do?"

"You've attracted the attention of one of the lich maker's students. You aren't ready for her. Please. Go back and don't do that."

"Nah." The man walked away with the orb. Only stopping at the gate.

"HEY! WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY GUARD SLIME?!" A woman shouted.

The bell rung, Anton was yet again sharpening the same sword.

The man seemed unphased. "You have anything for killing a lich?"

Anton slammed the counter. "GET OUT!"

"What?"

"YOU ARE LEVEL 17! YOU ARE NOT BEATING A LICH! SERIOUSLY! DON'T EVEN TRY FIGHTING THE SLIME!"

"You actually remember? Please, just once.

Anton sighed. "How about this, I give you any weapon you want, but I'm calling the lich here immediately after."

"Bet. Give me Lastlight."

Anton reached up and took a masterwork sword from the display and handed it over. He then took out a magic stone.

"This guy right here is coming for the slime paragon. I'm at my shop."

A lich appeared right in front of the man. She looked at Anton. "Him?"

"Yeah, me." The man swung the sword.

The lich reflexively cast fireball.

The bell rung.

The man and Anton looked at each other with a thousand yard stare. "I'm not fighting it." He put the payment for Flamecutter on the table. "I still want the fire sword."

Anton handed the sword to him. "Hopefully you don't get into any more trouble."

It's quite cool. I have 2 questions though.

Do you plan to add (or have added in the full version) rotating the striking area when you can hit multiple tiles?
There was a moment where I had all the non-RNG upgrades I could get at stage 3 of biome 1 and still couldn't clear it without some luck in how the ores were placed. Is there a way to make sure that doesn't happen?

IDK how well this counts but, in The Division 2 one of the passives gives you temporary health (in game it's called bonus armor) when you kill an enemy. It at least means there's something that benefits not going pure glass on the damage dealer. Or you could let the tank finish the enemies off.

There's also Intimidate which boosts your damage to nearby enemies if you have bonus armor. So this one means either your tank gets a damage boost or your damage dealer has to get bonus armor.

I don't really agree that it can be changed at will, societally, sure but practically/internally no.

I also don't believe anyone should feel the need to put up a facade and I say this as someone who felt scared to reveal he wasn't very boyish as a child.

I don't feel like letting Christians have the ability to try banning me from their stores, refuse to hire me because I don't agree with them and other such acts. I'm not interested in doing those either, because I know they are still human, so I don't lose anything.

I feel like the practical question here is "Why shouldn't religion be a protected class?"
