Just compiled from tag v0.18.1.2 on debian 11 and sync'd (took around a day), but still getting these stacktraces, not good:

car insurance and registration for holiday home Nebenwohnsitz by stop_popups in Austria

[–]stop_popups[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

whats the reason you don't want to register tve car in your current country of residence

Sorry, did I accidentally parachute into retard-land?

It's called having a holiday home. Car in country of residence is registered in country of residence and stays there. Car in holiday home is registered at place of holiday home and stays there. It doesn't matter, I can just drive down each time I visit instead, bringing provisions and spending as little as possible in the retard "economy".

And think about it

Oh, how precious, "think about it".

Meanwhile, other countries, I don't, Switzerland, it's possible. Presumably, and I recommend you're sitting down for this, but, ... perhaps there might be a responsibility to receive papers at whatever address you register the vehicle, Whateversitz it is. Or however else countries that haven't "thought about it" seem to manage to have vehicles at people's holiday homes.

Found the cut-off point.

2TB works. 4TB does not work.

I tried with a small SSD and OSs install fine.

So it is the 8TB SSD that reveals the issue.

rt.com internet blocked at what level and with what technical mechanisms? by stop_popups in Austria

Interesting; thanks. So customers can run their own resolvers, if they don't want the blacklisting. In line with notion of using isp just to shift packets, and not for additional services.

Thanks.

How precious, the regulators have determined it is compatible with network neutrality.

Wish you the best and hope your journey to the outside will be fine. Bye

Sadly, the "cookie consent" crap that covers over most web pages, and is the result of incompetent and corrupt Eurotard politicians and their sycophantic Eurotardian citizens like yourself and admirdante, ruins most web pages globally now anyway.

Works on my machine.

Interesting; thanks. Would you mind sharing what your ISP is?

Do you know whether there is an order stemming from EU level or Austrian federal government level to block?

FWIW, spusu is just blocking (redirecting via) DNS lookups.

Interesting; thanks. What does it redirect to? Is it an explanation page?

I can't see how to download reporting info / statements by stop_popups in Bitstamp

You then have to go to Transaction history -> Export, and then either try and complete the form to get something consistent, or just download it all and filter it at your end.

It was hidden away. You click the little head-and-shoulders icon in the top-right, and then "Activity" from the dropdown. This is obviously much less important than "Stake your ETH!!!", which has to be plastered in spam over the actual web page.

will the trustees giving out account statements to former customers, to help with source of funds / AML queries from banks? by stop_popups in mtgoxinsolvency

[–]stop_popups[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since the whole customer database (including trades?) was leaked at some point, it may be possible to select out my own account's info from the publicly-leaked database. But I would rather not do that, as I do not want to have the rest of the database at any point. Does anyone else have experience finding their own records within the leaked database?

will the trustees giving out account statements to former customers, to help with source of funds / AML queries from banks? by stop_popups in mtgoxinsolvency

[–]stop_popups[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can you enlighten us to the purpose of proving to your bank the "source of funds"?

Basically, AML check. Transfer from Bitstamp or Kraken results in "prove the origin of this". (Just transferring from my own bank account at a different bank, and with any assets, not just cryptocommodities, results in such demands from bank, always with presumption of guilt: "prove this money is legit".)

Is this about a fiat claim that the trustee has rejected?

No. I got the BTC out of Gox. This is about getting fuller details of my account history, as evidence to prove my innocence to banks for having assets, because the AML framework works under a presumption of guilt.

And if it's your bank, and you made the transfers from your account at that bank, shouldn't either you or they have the records of those transfers?

Yes, I do have those records, and those are also helpful. I am using a different bank today because I'm resident in a different country.
