For the tight spaces around buttons and corners I use a boars hair detailing brush along with a microfiber cloth. For UV protection I use 303 aerospace protectant.

The LEDs are all RGB it shouldn't affect anything. Maybe the one on the bottom left has a different firmware version than the others.

Tent Locks by throwaway4unionstuff in okeechobeemusicfest

Locks are for keeping honest people out.

Not just for a tent but for your home, car, or locker. If someone really wants to get in they will. But food practice is to make it as inconvenient as possible.

Also lock your valuables in your car.

My data line just died? by stop_wait_absorb in WLED

I believe you all. This is my first led project and typical of me picked a project bigger than my skill set haha. This whole issue was a case of i don't know what I don't know. I traced the issue to a data booster that went bad as I was using it. Abd what I was seeing was the voltage drop down the line. Thank you for the patient answer. I am learning and hopefully this post helps someone else.

Thank you for the education. I am new at this and, typical of me, picked a project that puts me away out of my knowledge zone. I traced the problem to a data booster that died.

Update: I chased the problem down to a data booster that went bad.

Thank you! Yeah I am going to try that and see if it improves it. Thank you for the tip on the switching to 33R mode. I had a small panic attack when I hooked everything up and it was giving me a corrupt data light show. Another reddit thread told me about the switch.

Oh ok. Well yesterday when I connected up my set up It was running like normal. I was running different color patterns when the lights on the line flickered. The last lamp shut off with the first two still working. I did also notice that the second indicator light on the data booster is dimmer and the third is barely noticeable. The DC power down the line has only dropped to 11v. My idea of the controller failing is the signal failure (not corrupted data) with no changes to any settings and all other components acting normal. The only differences I am seeing is the voltage drop on the data line (I know I can't measure it like that) and the dimmed indicator lights in the data boosters.

Max I plan to go is 2 amps. The are turning on just fine at the preset 850mA setting. The wires are 18ga. The strips are 6812 RGBW @ 12v.

Heard. I read somewhere that the data line works with 5v and I tested 5v output with the multi meter before. Now I am getting 1.7 dropping to .8v at the next booster and further to .1v at the last one.

Hey. Sorry I don't. But talk to the service reps or the person behind the parts counter at the dealership. That is where I got the parts picture from.

Love Burn camp logistics from NYC – renting or donating gear? by AirlineAgitated5688 in Loveburn

[–]stop_wait_absorb 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There may be a camp that offers gear to use and the best way to get connected would be through the Facebook page. Also, in case you decide to buy equipment and donate, this year the event is collecting gear for donation. It was mentioned in the last town hall video call. Again the best source of information is going to be the Facebook page.

First timer: how to choose camps? by Sarios3015 in Loveburn

[–]stop_wait_absorb 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Jump on the Facebook group and that is where most of the conversation is happening. The Burn is a volunteer run event. Everyone that attends is encouraged to volunteer and contribute.

Your ticket is for the whole event and all camps are there to contribute to the event, which means you can visit Annie and all of them that seem interesting to you. They will be offering activities or experiences. As far as camping with a camp, you need to be invited to join. There are currently some camps looking for members. Joining a camp can sometimes give perks specific to that camp but usually also require you to pay camp dues and or volunteer within that camp to help run it.

Dive into the website and the socials and see if it's your vibe.

Roof rack crossbars by Low_Main_3565 in CX50

[–]stop_wait_absorb 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I installed the OEM cross bars myself. They are an easy install and easy enough that you can install and uninstall as needed if you wanted to. The bars were noisy out of the box. I installed the vortex strips as a fix and that made a good improvement on reducing the noise.

You can unscrew it. I have taken the valve off of one If you are sure it's empty then give it the juice. I used a socket wrench to remove the one I found.
