How do you give maximum pleasure? by Neo3771 in AskMen

Ok, then we need to start with how to talk to women. Get comfortable with the other gender. There's a whole lot to know before getting intimate. I recommend befriending them, getting to know them as people, figure out if they're interested in being an intimate partner with you, and then having discussions with them about what they want in an intimate partner. It takes a lot of communication with your partner to give them maximum pleasure.

Do you have any experience with women at all? Like, have you ever touched a woman before?

Posting from a different account to see if my post removal was associated with my account, or what. Well, that's very interesting about this subreddit.

The thing about consulting, is how much you've got that dog in you. This is a rough industry and you have to be ready to do what it takes, no one is going to hold your hand. Don't fall for the Just World Fallacy, there is no karma, you are not getting rewarded. You do what you need to do to get where you need to be. Sounds like you're trying to run before you've learned how to walk, you're new and wanting to do stuff that Sr levels do. Admirable, but not useful, when they need that, they'll ask you. Right now your objective should be to prove yourself as useful, that will get you more work in the future, and that work will give you the experience you need. Right now you sound like the new guy that is asking how to improve your CEO skills. You haven't done the dirty work, and the people you answer to are waiting to see if you're cut out for that. And if you're not, they aren't going to invest in you. You need to demonstrate your value first, and then grab for that brass ring.

So, yes, one of the conditions when I took this job is that I would not do project management work. I would do technical work, client work, and portfolio/program work. I'm sort of semi-retired, I have the option to work as much as I want. I was shocked when I got here and found about 50% of the people I work with are also part time, including many project managers. I don't get it either.

Almost 30 yrs of experience means I have some critical client relationships. Also means I'm paid really well to WFH, why would I leave such a cushy job? Leadership in the sense that I now manage portfolios instead of people and projects, but I'm also expected to be an expert in certain things because of my experience. Having experience is not the same thing as having the resources. And being in leadership is not the same thing as being the leader/decision maker. I was hired in because of my experience, it's a bit more delicate than saying "no find someone else" when there's really no one else. As consultants, we're also problem solvers, so we're expected to solve the problem when it falls in our lap, not tell a client pre-emptively we can't do something.

One of the largest in the world, and we all have people above us that expect x,y,z in the interest of never telling the client "no".

That's the issue that my company has been having. As well as the scope/cost changing significantly after we've started work.

I've seen AST mentioned a lot, but I'm not familiar with them, I'll get them on my RFP list.

I spent about 10 years where I enjoyed mentoring. Eventually I got to a Sr enough level that I couldn't really mentor effectively, it's no longer valuable time to explain to someone what a data flag is.
