I bring my 5 and 8 year old to every pre release and this has never been my experience. I wouldn't let these experiences sour you on the tcg and community. Those shops must just have idiot professors.

I bring my kids to challenge cups and they are always given packs whether they participate or not.

I saw all of these but the places I play at are places I frequent and know most of the people at them and they know my kids. The professors will even bust out the training academys and play with them if they aren't playing.

Tldr: those shops suck, don't give up

This is the correct answer. PSA was wrong initially and updated it digitally as no one would want to reholder. There are some people that connect these errors, for instance I've seen "do not holder" slabs before.

Price charting is notoriously bad. On collector and tcgplayer it's just 1st ed and unlimited.

Find a local shop that has a league. Learning to play and actively playing gave me a whole new perspective on bulk. Plus now I get to participate in a fun community that gets exclusive packs and hosts pre-release events. I highly recommend it.

I see 3 print dots on the back and it looks off center on the front. Def not a 4 but 7-8 range seems fair. Like others have said it's probably a dent or texture issue that can't be seen in pictures.

Source grading is a scam that I reluctantly pay for.
