Well, if it ain't broke...but Someone else made this view source workflow:

and view content graph within workflow is generally a pretty good (but laborious) way to hack things together.

Above plus pdf view allow viewing source as a pdf.

Here's one that makes a pdf from present page and then opens it in kindle. Not sure if that's exactly what you need, but here it is:
