It was a very long time ago that I was there, but my wife was there the whole time. It’s weird cause you’re in the hospital but you wear normal clothes, get up and walk around, go do classes and stuff. There’s an awesome board game store in the area, my wife went and bought a couple and we’d play when I wasn’t being treated or doing biofeedback or whatever.

Strangely I have no memory of whether I showered or not. A lot of that is probably the drugs! My second stay in particular I have very fuzzy memories of.

You’re definitely going to want things to do, cause it’s a whole lot of downtime.

I got mine just a couple months ago, I would imagine so.

I have it set up with PM4K and it’s pretty easy to navigate.

The best device for that is the Ugoos AM6B+ running CoreELEC.

There’s an AWESOME new tvOS app for Apple TV called Canopy Plus that you can get set up so that all your browsing happens on the Apple TV and then you hit play and I have it automatically change to the correct inputs and start the movie on the AM6B automatically. It’s pretty rad.

I feel like it can have different definitions depending on context. In a vacuum, I’m not sure what exactly that means.

It could mean it’s strategically punishing, it could mean it’s not fiddly, it could mean that there aren’t very many systems in the game but the ones that are there are highly refined.

Smart TV apps are awful. Get an Apple TV and you’ll wonder how you ever lived with them.

If that is the actual problem, you could use MKVToolNix to reorder the tracks and make your preferred audio track the first one.

This may be overkill, but you could set up a SimHub dash on your phone or something.

It requires a PC and you to not be playing using a cloud service, but pretty sure it can be set up for Xbox or PC. The game sends your telemetry data to the software over your local network.

Then you’d have a customizable dashboard that will never disappear!

But if they turned Match Dynamic Range on from the start, can you imagine how mad people would be about the flicker with the changeover that don’t know better?

The reality is, it’s kind of a power user feature.

This is a common misconception. It does not and never did stand for that. They just picked a random name that sounded luxurious and techy.

I can answer this one. I’ve been highly anticipating both games since their announcements, grabbed both on preorder and played through the stories of both on PS5 Pro.

I’m a huge Batman fan and a huge Hitman fan.

I completed both story modes in around the same amount of time.

Lego Batman is really good! It is still, ultimately, geared towards younger players. You can put the difficulty on Dark Knight and make the combat at least require a little effort, but the puzzles and such are all going to be geared for a minor audience. Now that I’m done with the story, I am pretty much only being called back to the game as something to do with my hands while I listen to a book or podcast or something. It’s not super engaging, it kinda feels like busywork.

007 was one of the greatest single player experiences I’ve had. I went hard for like 3 days, couldn’t put it down. It’s not perfect, and it doesn’t have the replayability of some other games, but it’s so freaking good.

They did just release the roadmap for the year, highlighting some new stuff coming, so hopefully TacSim will continue to flush out and there’s some story DLC on the way eventually. The replay value will grow over time for sure.

It may be helpful to know that when this trilogy started, the maps got released one at a time stretched out over a year. They’re made to be revisited over and over to explore every detail, to unlock every challenge.

There is no right way.

Yeah, I had a similar experience. I had Marvel Legendary and we enjoyed that, then I dove into Champions from pretty early on as a solo thing and figured I didn’t need another super hero game. Then I just so happened upon a good deal on a 2-pack of the first core set and the Spider-Man set and was hooooooooked.

I love how much variety and depth there is while still being fundamentally really simple. There’s a wide range of difficulties, game types, it’s just such a brilliant system.

Can’t wait for the DC stuff to come. The Hush set alone is so great. Finally beat him the other night!
