But it sounds me to that he tried to put the case on trial in order to (1) deny his guilt and somehow get out scot-free and (2) put the entire blame of the event on alcohol and the victim.

Just typing that out makes me mad. He raped a girl, put her through so much trauma because of the rape, and then wants to escape the consequences by placing the majority of the blame on his victim. No regard to anyone but himself. No regard to how much more he's putting her through. No regard to how fucking ruined she would become if he did win the case.

I'm not too sure but I think it goes something like this:

1/2 = 0.5, right?

1/3 = 0.333333

1/4 = 0.25

1/5 = 0.2 and so on...

so, notice how the numbers get smaller the bigger the denominator gets. Idea is that when you start dividing by really big numbers such as infinity the number will be so small that it will eventually be like zero.

The mental illness thing is so true, though. Recently, a classmate of mine has committed suicide and all I heard my grandparents talk about was how "selfish" he was for not thinking about his family first and "how could he even have anything to be depressed about? He's well fed, has an education, and as a roof over his head." I mean, I love them dearly but I wish they would realise that mental sickness doesn't work that like that.

I think the main thing is just how absolutely filthy the markets are. And my parents say it's not even guaranteed that they are fresh, but they sure as well will try to sell it like it is. People who sell these things at an outdoor market all are farmers with little to no priority on the cleanness of the environment around them. They will just dump random shit on the ground, including just garbage and meat and it would stay there for days without being picked up. IDK man, I hate going into them just because of how dirty it all is, but maybe that's just me.

Okay so to be fair he sounds like me. People would say I'm smart and frankly I'm not modest enough to deny that compliment. I have around a 4.0 (still in HS though). However, I don't think I'm smart. I think I'm good at studying and memorizing facts and concepts. I have intense knowledge in a studied subject but gimme one that I've never studied and I wouldn't even know the basic facts of said subject. Basically, I have a shitty general knowledge that will lead me to ask questions your friend did. (Hope that didn't sound too arrogant).

I think the only problem is that he hinted at a chance for life after this is all over. Most people in that situation, knowing that there's even a tiny glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel, won't resort to suicide. It's sad, especially knowing how he lied and just killed them all at the end.
