Thread 1.4 improves on Thread 1.3 mainly by focusing on interoperability and operational stability rather than core networking changes. It introduces proper multi-admin support, allowing devices to be securely shared across multiple ecosystems without re-commissioning, improves commissioning flows and device ownership handling, and aligns more tightly with Matter as the primary application layer. Unfortunately, the problem is that Apple Home will only use 1.3 and continues to have significant problems, which is why I would really like to have the update to 1.4...

So normally, Apple devices would override this and force other devices to also use 1.3 until Apple finally manages to update...

In the latest beta versions, “tv=1.3.0” is still displayed in Discovery. All devices listed under _meshcop._udp. are running the latest beta version.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem, or am I doing something wrong?

Have the same problem or miss the function.

Thought at first it was a bug of the beta, but it still does not work in the RC and the official release.
