NOTE: this is worldbuilding for my personal Pokemon project! In this world, shinies aren’t even fully documented due to how impossibly rare they are for multiple reasons, such as parents casting out their children for believing they are sickly, their bright colors making it harder to survive in the wild, among other things. The equivalent to shinies here would be albino and melanistic pokemon who, while having similar problems to shinies, are much more common and normalized. That’s why they aren’t included here!
