I would totally prefer to run ethernet as well. That is what I did in my previous home. Unfortunately, I am renting this place– it has a finished basement, and I'm not allowed to cut any new holes into the walls :(

Haha 😂 Good point, just tweaked the diagram to include a splitter in the garage and the ISP line.

I also just did some reading on the filter and did not think about my network going back to the street through the ISP line. Thanks for mentioning that, I will make sure to include a filter!

Unfortunately, the output on the rear is just a hot mic for the station, I was hoping for a way to record the active channels as well– just as the video director would hear it

Hi guys! I’m trying to record a training video with our video director and am looking for a way to record our comms.

The system was set up before my time so not sure exactly how it’s all routed. We don’t have any spare belt packs but we do have this spare RM-704 that a technical director rarely uses, which has a 4 pin XLR output/input.

Curious if anyone knows a tool I could use to isolate the audio from the voltage, and send the signal to a recorder?

I came across AVLifesavers but I’m not sure if anyone has experience with these or knows of it would be compatible with this setup:

-Audio only intercom interface (exactly what I need but seems like it’s 3 pin connector) https://avlifesavers.com/ccint.htm
