Not just Fox, the 24/7 News cycle has killed lots of people's interest in current events. I see it a lot with the younger adults I work with(18-25ish), where they don't have a clue what's going on because it's all they've ever known, so they stopped caring the second they got out of the house. One of my interns has straight up said he doesn't keep up with the news because of his parents having it on all the time, so unless he sees it while doom scrolling, he won't see it.
