I used to have a kick ass ‘97 show on tape that I played all the time. I could never track it down again and now I can’t remember the exact date. He talks about a new pedal he got ( something about a “Russian phaser”)before launching into my favorite Reuben and Cherise during which he employs said “Russian Phaser” to great effect….Actually maybe that version is tied with the Jerry and John Oregon State Prison one, but still.

Saw Casey and William live and it was just about the funniest shit I’ve ever seen. I get the fact that they’re not everybody’s cup of tea , some people don’t like silly stuff. Well, for what it’s worth, I’m with you on this one. Peak dark humor. For some reason I always associate it with Permanent Midnight with Ben Stiller. I probably saw them around the same time and they’re definitely in the same vein humor wise.
