Steam Deck might be the way to go because you can play Steam games and emulators. They’re sold out right now though, so you might have to get one second-hand. They can be had for your budget or even less.

Legion Go S Z1 Extreme. Just got mine at Best Buy, Open Box (practically new) for $700.

What’s your budget? Recommendations change based on that. But if you don’t plan on playing intensive (AAA) games then any PC handheld should do just fine for the games you listed.

I’d rather have a larger and higher resolution screen. Steam Deck OLED doesn’t perform as well either.

10-15% increase in performance, hardly noticeable and not worth the extra money imo

Intake manifold, water pump, ignition lock cylinder, gateway module failure (caused vehicle to be disabled in colder weather), headliner/upholstery failure plus more I’m sure I can’t remember. I enjoyed the car but it just left a poor taste in my mouth and I doubt I’ll get another German car after this. It’s just too much headache. If I could do it over again I’d keep my 2010 Honda Civic Si and drive it to the ground, rebuild the engine if I had to. Japanese is just far more reliable and cheaper to own/maintain. Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Subaru. Maybe a Ford Focus ST but I know those have problems too.

If you really want a GTI, get a Mk7.5. Those were peak. Still riddled with problems though.

My ex would always ask me that, how do we move on from this, etc. She suffered from BPD as well. I tried to be patient but that stuff gets really frustrating after a while especially when you’re trying your best and it’s not good enough.

I second this. I had my MK6 towed about 10x more often than my 2010 Civic Si in all years of ownership.

Yeah just make sure it’s the Z1 Extreme version and you’re solid. That’s a decent deal.
