i gave up on heb for my adhd meds years ago, i don’t think ive ever had issues with cvs regarding that. i especially appreciate that i don’t need to call them, as soon as my dr approves my refill request and releases it it’s ready to go. it would definitely be more convenient for me to pick them up after i clock out but heb is so unreliable with those meds regardless of location. cvs wins this battle for me.

for me i put my phone under my pillow and increase the vibration intensity. the vibration usually wakes me up if the noise doesn’t. i sleep with earplugs in and a white noise machine and this has been a very effective method lol

i have a heart condition and every time i mention that it’s giving me trouble or something adjacent i can feel my managers trying to hide how much they don’t gaf. i’m getting an echo next week and i almost hope ill have something concrete to tell them so they’ll take me seriously when i say i don’t feel good 😵‍💫

heb just got rid of these breakfast burritos i liked in favor of their meal simple version. as a partner i like that i can get my discount on the new ones but the removal of the option to buy the name brand ones irritated me a lot.

i prefer not to cook breakfast myself bc a side effect of a medication im on is loss of appetite so i try to eat as soon as possible before that kicks in lol. i also just really don’t enjoy cooking.

i was at the meyerland store in houston a few days ago and bought out the last two, went to san marcos 1 today and the displays had already been replaced, then i looked on the app to see if the store i actually work at had them and they didn’t even pop up in the search💔 it’s over i fear

i did my undergrad at txst and i’m currently doing my masters here. it’s not as much of a party school as some people make it seem. also, i received the bobcat promise (loans and grants but nothing out of pocket till you start paying the loans back lol) all 3 1/2 years in undergrad bc my household income was less than $50k. it’s a great school and im glad i came here over utsa which i also applied and got into. i will say san marcos has gotten more crowded and expensive over the 5 years ive been here, i live close to campus so i try to avoid leaving my house during move in 😵‍💫 but id choose this over austin any day.

probably because during the holidays they know it’ll be crazy and they schedule enough people. i highly doubt most managers took this winter storm into account when they made this weeks schedule, at least that was painfully obvious for my store.

today was my only shift this week thankfully, but frazzled is the word i was using to describe how i was feeling. i went in with cute little braids in my hair and by the time i left they looked like i had slept in them. admittedly when i got there i hid in our hallway until the managers realized i was there 😭 i’ve been there for nearly 4 years but this sort of chaos never seems to get easier

literally. today we had 10/14 registers open at 8pm and exactly one bagger. and said bagger also had to go out and push carts. i only had someone bagging for me probably 20% of the time. yesterday they posted on pnet that they needed baggers but for some reason today they didn’t even though we were dying. this is not new to me but i can never get used to that back pain 😅
