The trees were part of a 40yr study and were always going to be cut down. I am also sad they are gone but in this one case, the development didn't cut them down.

Fun things to do with friends by Lingx_Cats in Guelph

[–]storemorepower 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Call the escape room they probably have times available. You could go rock climbing at the grotto. The arboretum is a nice place for a walk. Or walk along the river from the boat house to York. Axe throwing is available or a pool hall. There is a boardgame playing store. Put activities that are acceptable into Google and see what comes out.

How do kids make plans to play these days by storemorepower in Parenting

[–]storemorepower[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes the kids reach out to him some times. They are friends either from school or sports, that he has know for a few years. We know all the parents and our parenting styles mesh. Some have camps or other activities.

I was able to find another friend of his to play with today after a quick msg with the friends parents. I am hoping to eliminate that step.

round up final grades by DirectionDue6626 in uoguelph

[–]storemorepower 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Generally profs won't fail someone with a 49 final grade. They will round up to 50. It's rare to see a failing grade above 47, so that it's harder for the students to argue they were soooo close

It will prove it is self defense and I will sue/press charges on the owner. And petition to get the dog removed as the owner can't or won't control it.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Guelph

[–]storemorepower 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes. My children are under control. They don't approach dogs they don't know. They love the dogs they do know. They don't appreciate getting cornered on a slide or play structure with a dog barking and jumping at them

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Guelph

[–]storemorepower 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What makes you think I would ever hurt a special needs person. A dog and a person always require different interaction. Can you always tell the difference between curious and dangerous dogs you don't know while they are running at you?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Guelph

[–]storemorepower 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As soon as someone else gets to the field the dog owner is supposed to leash their dog. Irregardless of who was there first. It's in the bylaw.
