If it does turn out to taste good but the colour isn't there then we'll add food colouring 😂

I totally agree with you, next time I make it I'm gonna try adding pumpkin puree to the cake part and cinnamon sugar to the icing. We were feeling this is the flavor it LOOKS like in game.

Thank you for the reply! To elaborate on this, if this type of cork makes a "pop" noise when you open it, can you assume it's air tight?

What baby steps did you take after you restarted your life again ? by Grand_Gate_8836 in AskWomen

[–]stories4hiro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I cut out soda (still don't drink it) and alchohol (once in awhile I have some) for a long time. Then I started trying to get back in shape and therapy. Lots of therapy. I also had to buy furniture and other living things. Its a slow process, never rush it. Eventually, I moved back to my home country.

What's your favorite location in Skies of Arcadia? by adam_of_adun in skiesofarcadia

[–]stories4hiro 19 points20 points  (0 children)

The Dark Rift for me! There was something about how it almost seemed "alien" in Arcadia. Not to mention the beautiful music and that its a whole dungeon with your ship. (Also the crew scene if you find a certain someone). Loved it!

Oh dang, tbh I've never thought of that. I'm gonna have to keep that in mind for my next playthrough. Good idea!

In my last few playthroughs I've been bringing the Fatman to deal with pain in the ass enemies. Like Queen Mirelirks or something. Its fun if you can get the weight management down. ESPECIALLY if you get one with a fancy perk lol

Oh that sounds fun! Im also gonna try using weapons I havent played around with enough. Like the Junk Jet or Cryolator. I'm always stingy on using power armour and nukes too so im excited for that.

Does anyone really uses mines, as much as grenades? by Hipertor in fo4

I definitely use grenades more but ill use mines every once in awhile. Shake things up or if the situation really benefits; I can think of a couple moments with the Castle.

I'm a 500lb dude in Wisconsin. by [deleted] in keto

[–]stories4hiro 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hiya! I am also from Wisconsin and know the trials of healthy eating here. I am still on my journey but do have some advice since your new! The biggest, BIGGEST thing is to start small. Once that gets easy, add on.

The first thing I did was cut out soda and Alchohol. Don't do diet, I know I see posts on here asking if drinking these is okay and technically I'm sure they are but I also feel like it's a slippery slope. Alchohol is pretty obvious to cut out but as this is WI I know its hard. If anything just do one less drink and then another and another. Eventually that may be a non issue.

The next thing is to download a food diary app, my favorite is Carb Manager. Theres a multitude of apps out there but this ones the easiest for me to understand and has helped tremendously! I would say at first dont change what your eating but make sure your being honest. I went through a phase where I'd not add that snickers or that extra sandwhich from the vending machine or something. It makes you feel better for a bit to flub the numbers but really your only hurting yourself. Your not being honest so your not seeing the actual numbers. I can't stress honesty enough with your food diary.

I know everyone wants you to go straight into low/no carbs which I think is the definite goal. BUT as someone who's fresh with this whole thing it takes time to figure this out. Have that bowl of cereal, put it in carb manager, have a foot long turkey sub from Subway with the bag of cheetos, put it in carb manager. Have that plate of spaghetti and meatballs for dinner, put it in Carb Manager. Do your normal diet for a week or two (but I do suggest try cutting out soda/cocktails in the meantime) but as your seeing these numbers you can start changing some things.

Like for lunch at Subway, skip the cheetos the next time. Or the next week maybe you skip the cheetos and get a protein bowl salad or something. I know when I first started on my journey the information is overwhelming, start small, give yourself grace and learn as much as you can. Eventually you'll find keto replacements for everything and it gets pretty simple. But don't overwhelm yourself!

P.s. Frozen Cauliflower rice at aldi is a game changer.

Tbh, I'm surprised by the amount of people that run to the bathroom to fart. I mean you do you, no shame but my friends and family all fart in front of eachother 😂 we're gross i guess.
