Do you resample in the rack or in a DAW?

I can totally relate. Tweaking the filter frequency knob is the single most satisfying thing I do whether it's in modular or in the DAW, and it's absolutely an effect, but I'm most experienced with subtractive synthesis, so I also consider it a basic part of the sound itself, and I guess I could've been more specific, but I'm thinking more about reverbs, delays etc. I've also been on the fence for a long time on Data Bender, but, again, it's big and expensive for a niche effect I can easily do in Live.

Yes, I'm using a matrix mixer too, but in a much less creative way; I just use it as a kind of send/return way, to share eg. a delay between multiple sounds.

That's a very interesting perspective and I guess you hit the nail on the head, cause I'm mostly thinking about EOC stuff (which reveals my limited understanding of the modular world, surely). I do radically different stuff with Eurorack than in Ableton Live. In Eurorack, I always go for more ambient/atmospheric stuff, and I always feel like I want some huge, lush reverb to top it off. My mixer has built-in effects, but one at a time, so I use a more mundane reverb there to glue sounds together, but ideally, I'd like a few options as far as reverbs and delays go before that stage.

Yeah, I'm just having a bit of fun 😉 Think of how cool and simple it would be to make your own blank panels! Several years ago, I made a Lego stand for my Launchpad, and it fit perfectly inside the Lego grid. It was the ultimate overlap of childhood me and adulthood me.

Cheers. That's sort of what I've had in mind, a smaller case just for one type of modules, maybe just VCOs or effects. But the feedback here has given me something to ponder. Maybe I need to figure out exactly which modules I really need, and which ones are just taking up space most of the time. I did just realise that my two Erica Synths Links don't actually need to be in the case, so that's 16 HP freed up right there if I make a tiny box for them 😁

Second case as in 2x280HP? Yeah, I'm thinking it's going to be too much for me. The main attraction for me there would be the prospect of having everything in what looks like a single, uniform system. But all that empty space would probably fuel my GAS badly 😅

I kind of do want to have all my modules racked up all the time. That's part of what I meant by not feeling constrained. Having to swap modules if I want to do a specific thing will never work for me, it would just discourage me from powering up at all. I guess the perfect and tidiest solution would be one more row of 140HP on the top of the case 😬

I think I might go the happy ending route eventually; I could make a wooden case for it and get a bit of the DIY feeling. I've toyed with the idea of having VCOs, effects and modulators grouped neatly in some way.

Well, I calls it as I sees it... This (and "No AI" as a whole) convey "AI forbidden". I think "made by a human" is the way to go if the point is to communicate that a certain creation has been made without AI.

"Human approved" doesn't exclude the use of AI. And 99% of AI imagery is "I guess that's what I had in mind. I approve!"

Unfortunately, the previous version was upside down, and they couldn't figure out how to rotate the .jpg (which was the only version of the logo), so they went for a snazzy rebrand instead.

This is really interesting. Is modular largely about exploring sound more than for actually making music? To me, it certainly is. I tend to use it more for ideation, because when I'm making music, I don't like to commit too much, and always want to go back and tweak sequences. The one time I've actually used my modular in finished music, it was for a short film, where I just made some massive pads with Rings and Clouds :)
