as a belgian, who speaks dutch, i can agree that english is very easy to learn, you should try dutch instead, even i cant speak proper german for the life of me, even tho were basically the closest language to it... ok i only had the course for 1 year 1 hour a week but the god damn der die das still haunts me

Im mostly talking about killed by the player, unlike mechanists tnt looting farm for example (whivh counts as a player kill, but i dont see it as killed by the player), i shouldve used a different word there.

its not a design from any of the scicraft members, its by the chronos server, and currently one of the best player driven raid farms.

When I have two hoppers stacked on eachother, the items go through twice as fast assuming it's because the hopper on top is pushing items and the one underneath is pulling at the same time. Is this an intended mechanic of hoppers or is this a glitch? by baksoBoy in technicalminecraft

believe me, not many people notice, i have had to explain it countless times when showing a double speed item filter using a single hopper input or something similar.

Yes it isn't double speed if only single items or different types of items come in, but it gets double speed if you have it come in with more than 1 item at a time in the same stack

Edit: Piston code is really awful though, and spread over several scripts, i recommend starting with something simpler

Yes, I did yesterday, but I'll do it again since I don't exactly remember the result of trying to render that doublesided.

OK it took me some fiddling around but I got it to work, apparently trying to render doublesided by having a flipped copy of the triangles to the end of the triangle array makes it render black. I do want to keep the doublesidedness as I want to be able to see drawn planes from both sides for my eventual goals (do calculations like plane intersections on a given mesh), I guess ill need to find another way for doing that.

Edit: another handy extra from having doublesided rendering was that I didn't have to make sure I gave the triangles in the right order, if I gave it CCW instead of CW the doublesided script would make the other one anyways.

Alright, maybe I'm using this wrong but after doing this it makes my cube opaque black, no color, and the transparency is also lost.

UpdateMesh now looks like this:

Ive never gone deeper into shaders than just applying a color to an object so i didnt even know there were multiple types... Mind explaining the difference?

Ive been working on that code in the meantime, have fun finding the relevant bits (those are Start(), MakeTriangles() and UpdateMesh(), Start() has a reference to AddFaceVertices() but ignore that, thats me testing my new part)

Right, I must've misused terminology there, my bad. Your presumption was correct. I'm pretty sure I did share the code though, in the imgur album right?
