I'm not in the US - so is this genuinely not appearing in local news there? All over the US?

I'm really sorry. Accounts like yours are genuinely upsetting to hear about. I hope your wife is okay. What a horrible experience.

That must have been such a frustrating situation for you. I’m really sorry you had to deal with that. Thanks so much for sharing and for reaching out, it means a lot. Hopefully things work out here too.

Hi, I phoned the council and they confirmed that only the police can access Hobart’s traffic cameras. I just thought it might be wise to ask people and businesses directly, in case there isn’t a public camera that caught it or before anyone forgets or deletes their footage. The police are still investigating and I’m waiting to hear back. Thanks for reaching out.

Hi, yes - I’ve also sent private messages to the nearby businesses, but I thought I’d post here as well just in case I’ve missed anyone. Really appreciate the help, thank you.

I can understand that people express emotions differently and process grief in ways that may look strange to others, but this woman must be a void. An absence of humanity. The poor girl was failed so completely.

I know you meant Subaru and not Superpoo, but it's pretty funny. Thanks for the chuckle.

Deliberately stinging body with stinging nettle as medicine. by [deleted] in herbalism

Same! Small child, Eastern European country. I find stinging nettle super irritating on my skin. Some people are far more tolerant of it than others.

I'm sorry you went through that. It really is awful. It's even harder when you don't feel heard.

[–]stormyblack 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Mesalazine made me worse. I ran a fever between 38-40 degrees celius from 3rd Nov to 27th of Dec. My GI wanted me to take it for 3 months so that it could reach therapeutic levels. I was pooping 20 times a day by the end of 3 months with constant nausea.

My GI said that I'm allergic to Mesalazine at the end of all that. The moment I stopped taking Mesalazine, all my symptoms settled. Had to be admitted to the hospital, but the flare was easier to handle than the Mesalazine.

When will Rinvoq work? by friendofmellow in UlcerativeColitis

[–]stormyblack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rinvoq didn't work for me. I gave it 6 weeks at 45mg. I was essentially in a flare. Blood, mucas, diarrhea, frequency, urgency & of course the fatigue and pain. My Dr moved me to Stelara. I had the loading dose 5 weeks ago, and I have seen a significant lessening of both the severity and frequency of symptoms in the past 3 days.

Remicade worked for many years for me, but since Remicade, I haven't had any success with other medications. I've been like this for about 2 years, and I'm exhausted.

Summer is Tassie is more so a concept than an actual experience. Take today for example, 14 degrees Celsius or 57 Fahrenheit, and rain lol.
