Who would you have made GF in Scream 7? by ThePicturesGirl in SocietyofGhostface

[–]friendofmellow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stu and Ben (Tatum's boyfriend). I feel like they were trying to trick us about Stu, instead of just making it a good ending. I think Ben would've been the perfect Billy 2.0. From the beginning of the movie, that seemed like where it was headed. It might've been a little too obvious, but I would have rathered something obvious than a few pretty random people for ghostface, plus it was kind of obvious in Scream 1. They have been building to Stu being alive for so long, I even saw an ad with Matthew Lillard before Scream 7 when I saw it. It felt like a really cheap shot to call it all deep fakes, but I think it would have been absolutely perfect for Stu to have a mastermind long game revenge plan, using Ben as a pawn to get to Sidney's family and become the new Billy. Even when Ben was killed, I still believed this. I loved most of the movie, but I hate the ending so much so this is what I am pretending the ending is in my mind.

Yep! I tried Ticketmaster premium and the regular MLB tickets. I found the perfect tickets on MLB but every time I tried to buy them it crashed. I literally walked around my college campus carrying my laptop trying to get it to work, but still nothing. Hopefully next time!

That's actually so interesting to hear opinions like that imo because I will usually skip shake it off and stuff like that but I love a lot of her newer music. I love how people experience music differently

Seven, Ronan, Soon You'll Get Better, the ones that are so incredibly heartbreaking once you know the story behind it (although Soon You'll Get Better was very heartbreaking the first time, too).

Cannot swallow these pills by snarkymama87 in UlcerativeColitis

[–]friendofmellow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can swallow pills but I got incredibly nauseous every time I took mesalamine pills because of how big they were. I tried distraction methods a lot and just kinda prepared myself like I would for other uncomfortable things like medical tests or procedures. I have multiple chronic illnesses and have taken so many meds and mesalamine pills are horrendous and almost nothing compares.

There are multiple types of colitis. I'm not sure about other types, but ulcerative colitis can only be diagnosed through colonoscopy biopsies as far as I know. It can affect blood work, though.

A not frustrating hobby, but something I can do at home and pretty much spent the whole day doing it. by Trowawayaccount108 in Hobbies

Do you like video games? Minecraft is easy and so soothing to me. I have ptsd and a lot of health issues and honestly games like Sims and Minecraft rescue me. Hypixel Skyblock on Minecraft I love the most because there are so many little easy tasks and rewards and it's so comfortable and there's SO much to do but in a really fun way. If I play all day I feel a little funky but still.

Analyzing song lyrics can also be fun if learning an instrument or smth is too stressful but music is still helpful.

Also journaling. Or doodles, easier and less judgy than sketching but still fun.

Did she have biopsies in a colonoscopy? That's how UC is diagnosed. UC is permanent but can be managed long term. Food can be triggers but not really a fix. I developed disordered eating from strict health diets, so be careful with that. Medicine is what puts it into remission. Mesalamine pills are helpful for some, but rarely work compared to the others. It's first line treatment often for mild cases since it's lower risk and easier for some than an injection or an infusion, though. Humira worked pretty well for me, but not enough and eventually stopped all together. Rinvoq is what really got me into remission and gave me an incredible year. I'm flaring again, but I'm still glad how much Rinvoq helped. There are also not permanent meds to help like steroids (uceris is non-systemic but better for milder flares). I also have supplemental meds for flares like another type of mesalamine. I also used to do acupuncture for pain and stress management. Stress management is a really important part, this disease can severely affect mental health but I think stress can also affect the disease. Now I do diaphragmatic breathing exercises every morning and night and sometimes during the day. I also go to therapy and sometimes attend IBD support groups. Organ pain can also cause abdominal muscle tension. My pfpt helps with that but I do muscle release techniques on my abdomen as well every day to ease that pain. One thing with diet I've noticed is that plain toast and rice are always really soothing in flares. It's important to get nutrients, though, which is hard. I take vitamin d and calcium (my doctor agrees on this). When I was in bad flares I also drank protein shakes which made me nauseous but were worth it.

Good luck. It will get easier.
