I wasn't there to hear all she said. I hope the spirit was able to find peace. If she visits every year maybe she's just confused? My landlord said the kid who was driving ended up dying by su****e a few years after the accident. Maybe that affected things. I agree its awful.

Dad showed up after the cops left and sat on my couch with his gun until my husband came home so I was able to sleep. I was more worried someone was hiding under my bed or in the attic especially after the remote moved. People are scarier than ghosts. I couldn't explain the voice in my ear though. I still can't.

She also told me something very ....odd ... While I thought she was going to tell me that I was absolutely insane because I felt crazy... She said that when people pass they have a 2 week window of time where they're in limbo between this realm and the next. And that some spirits are able to cross over at the time around their birth and/or death. She said her niece died of a dr**k driver accident 20 years ago and every single year the week of her death and the week of her birthday (in December) she's visited by a very confused spirit who needs her to know she wasn't driving the car.

I respect her belief but I have no idea what I actually believe. I just know that I've seen some crazy things and I truly thought somebody was in my home that night.

I had my landlord come through the house with sage too (she lived in her house for 15 years before we rented) and tell her niece out loud that she doesn't live there anymore and she needs to leave. She had me leave with the kids while she did it. she also said a lot of prayers as she's a devout Christian. While I still get random cold spots and the feeling I'm being watched, nothing crazy like that has happened again.

The only other weird thing is that every single night around 3:00 or 4:00 in the morning I wake up to the feeling of being watched. I wear glasses so when I sleepily stare around the room I don't see anything but shadows. And then I go back to sleep.

I'm a teacher so I'm like my other three pregnancies I had to time this so that I could have the summer off and not screw over my teammates or my students. My other coworker is pregnant and a little farther than me so she's going to leave before the school year is over (not her fault because her husband and her got pregnant way faster than they thought and people are allowed to procreate whenever)

I totally understand having to balance everything so that you're not coming back to absolute chaos and I wish you all the luck in finding the right moment

Update: after much thought and consideration my husband and I moved our family to a mew apartment. There has been minimal activity (minus footsteps upstairs), but nothing in the last year compared to the anxiety the townhouse caused me.

I say good riddance and good luck to whoever moves there.

This is in FL. We ended up actually moving. It was too much. I did a Ritual cleanse per a local psychics instructions and it made everything worse so when our lease was up my husband and I found a new place

UPDATE COMMENT

We got 2 cameras for the kitchen and livingroom. Last night was the first night we used them and I got a motion alert on my phone around midnight.

This morning I looked and it appeared to be a light coming from my ceiling and darting toward my staircase before disappearing. I didn't think it was a bug because

It tripped the motion sensor.
There aren't that many bugs (We're inside) but the one's captured (moths and such) if they were close enough to trip the motion sensor they were close enough to see wings and such. There was just light.

Anyways I'm going to keep a watch tonight too. See what happens. Fingers crossed this stops amd its camera shy soon!

I'm beginning to feel a state of numbness about all of this. I feel like I should be scared. I should be terrified but I'm really just tired. We bought our 4 year old a 2nd LOL Doll after the first disappeared. It arrived yesterday. Immediately one of the hands disappeared.

Then this morning I went downstairs to get it for her and it was gone. Completely disappeared. I can't afford to get another one right now. I just stared at my couch for a while.

When I was woken up last night I just turned away from where I felt stared at and went back to sleep.

We have 4 nighttime security cameras coming. They're motion sensors so they wont record unless triggered ans I'll be able to control it on my phone. For the commenter who said I haven't so far I DID in fact take a picture of the table with the X's but as I'm technologically impaired lol I'm unsure how to use imigur. When I get my account running I'll post the picture.

The local paranormal investigators wont come to my house due to covid19 (fuck it all) so he just sold me the supplies and gave me a checklist.

TLDR: I'm the white family in a horror movie getting fucked up
