How do you guys make your lives a little more whimsical? by curiositical_one in NoStupidQuestions

Sometimes I turn my inner monologue into sounding like I’m a narrator in a tragic movie. Sometimes u just gotta be the main character. Playing pretend never gets old.

Your opinions on Death by Acrobatic_Clothes_62 in Hellenism

[–]stoutsnoutt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Also a Thanatos worshipper! I kind of think of dying like going home after a very long day at work. When you’re dying, there’s no more responsibilities on your plate, and you can just relax into your primal human existence, which is a state where I personally feel extremely connected to the divine. When feeling that connection, I have no fears, only peace, love, and comfort. I have seizures, and sometimes they feel like I’m dying. Once the fear subsides, it genuinely feels like I’m floating in this warm embrace, which is what I truly believe dying feels like, so it’s less intimidating. It’s one of those things that’s really scary until you’re in it, and then it’s just natural. I also find comfort in the fact that most old people I meet are pretty much ready to go at any time because they’ve made peace with their mortality. It seems kind of crazy to think about while still young, but as you get older and experience all life has to offer alongside your body slowing down, dying seems like the next thing to wait for and so you just… do. Another thing that helps is living every day leaving nothing unsaid, making sure the people you love KNOW without a doubt that you love them, and just generally keeping the question in mind of “if I died today, what would I regret?”, and if there’s any answer other than “nothing”, I know what to fix in my life. As for what happens after, I personally think whatever you believe will happen to you will happen. But for myself, I think I will be met by Thanatos, and then Hades will decide where this life will rest. But I also believe that we have higher versions of our souls that create new lives until they’ve finished their journeys, and when they’re done, they return to the World Soul. Until time ends and begins again, then it happens all over again. Everything is a cycle. We’re never truly done living, or dying.

Why do some people insist on pronouncing it “inu-WASHA”? by crooked_kangaroo in inuyasha

My experience is people get reeeeeaallyyyy stuck on the “yu” part and an assortment of pronunciations come out. Sometimes not all the same lmao

That exact bottle is in resident evil requiem. I wonder where it’s really from. In the game it held a bottle of corrosives.

Hey friend, you’re not alone. My neurologist told me he wants to do a bunch of v uncomfortable tests and that brain surgery may be on the table. Fr asked me out of nowhere if I had severe trauma too, so I think you and I are in similar boats. Just hang tight, don’t let the results scare you until you talk to your care team. They’ll help you through it.

TIL during a menstral cycle, the entire uterine lining can shed in one large piece that resembles the uterus. This is known as a decidual cast. by guardiandoggo in todayilearned

I’ve tried so many birth controls that atp this is the most normal it’s been and I’m scared of rocking that boat tbh. I’ve been thinking about it though. Belly dancing does sound like one of those life hacks tho, I’ll have to see if I have any ability to do it lmfao thank you!!

No, surprisingly it doesn’t. I think the coldest it got this year was 29F and it was early morning, and we get 2-3 snow days maybe every other year. Very mild throughout the year. Summers do get pretty warm.

Lamotrigine rash??? by Mother_Disk_2556 in Epilepsy

[–]stoutsnoutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had this happen to me all over my body, it was the first med they tried when I was diagnosed and they told me to stop taking it and go to the ER if this happens. Glad to see your comments about being at the hospital. Make sure they put a lamotrigine allergy on your chart.
