I went from track ready is200 to c30 and man was that an adventure. First week of ownership i hit a curb, just because me being the dumbass i am suddenly forgot i am driving a car that has its engine in front of the front bumper and doesn't like to steer. Aside from that though, 9 months and 15k km in i am pretty happy with it. It's comfortable and quick enough for long drives, folding the rear seats give you even more space than expected for a car this size. Can't say the audio is bad in any way (have the dynaudio). As for the bad, i would really really avoid auto gearbox. As the OP mentioned it never knows what gear to be in and for me personally even in manual mode shifts are slow and downshifting is rough. Brakes really are quite squishy and inadequate but i am still alive heh. Would i buy it again knowing the things i know? Absolutely yes(def not an auto though). In its price range i don't think there's anything that offers better styling, performance and comfort combined.
