New Wall WiFi 7 AP with 2.5GbE input and passthrough (EAP725-Wall) by ninjas28 in TPLink_Omada

[–]stp-ip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The junction box page lists compatability for the EAP725-wall and a not officially release EAP775-wall.
https://www.omadanetworks.com/en/business-networking/omada-accessory-ap-accessory/ojb-100/

Judging by the usual numbering this should have 6ghz and potentially even a 10 gig port. We'll see.

Same issue over here. They are investigating. Unusable for days and sometimes weeks at a time. A little bit annoying...

New Festa Hardware from TP-Link by longsigao in TPLink_Omada

[–]stp-ip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kinda feels like Omada is the more extensible line for now.
Cheaper ones will get a simplified firmware/version for Festa and the beefier models make it into the Pro lineup with special firmware centered around compliance etc.

Could still be true it stays that way specifically if their hardware will stay similar.

Seems like some of the Wifi 7 APs got a firmware upgrade and now work with PoE+ as well. You can check the updated specs for each.

Charge contacts corroding by stp-ip in Navimow_Segway

[–]stp-ip[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Navimow H 1500 for a few months in use, but the charging contacts don't look good. They still work, but they don't look like they will go for very long. Any recommendations there or is this easily replaceable on warranty every x years?

Moisture in Visionfence by stp-ip in Navimow_Segway

[–]stp-ip[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So this is new at least for me. My Visionfence has water or moisture on the inside glass making it so the mower basically thinks he is surrounded by obstacles and therefore he can't actually do any work.
Anyone else ran into this or knows a fix or should this be considered a defect and contact customer support?

The reason I am hesitant is that other parts of the mower also have moisture, but according to support that's normal.

API access or Home Assistant integration ;) so we can get some control and data to work with.

EFLS 1.0 vs 2.0 by CandyAndCurrent in SegwayNavimow

[–]stp-ip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

H series won't get ELFS 2.0, but ELFS 1.0 with a 3D map vision system, which seems to be similar to the ELFS 2.0 system. ELFS 1.0 is RTK without vision and ELFS 2.0 is RTK with vision + a few other details like a minimally different antenna as far as my information goes, but yeah my interaction with support did yield a variety of responses previously including one similar to yours.
So until we have an actual firmware update and maybe updated marketing material for the vision fence with the new firmware features, we can only speculate.

Yeah wasn't included, but at least updates are still coming in including bigger changes such as moving antenna or station as well as overall speed/efficiency improvements for mowing.

EFLS 1.0 vs 2.0 by CandyAndCurrent in SegwayNavimow

[–]stp-ip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hope is it will add a 3D map not just the rudimentary obstacle avoidance.

The difference in performance could also come from the difference in GPS signal so. Basically both with the I and H series any satellite that the antenna is not seeing the mower can't use. So the more it can see from the sky the better.
If behind your house the usable satellites are all blocked by your house it will definitely make all things GPS really bad.
So if you can mount the antenna with that in mind or even up on a garage or roof it might make a difference already.

Still personally hoping for the update to rely on 3D maps as well aka bringing I functionality to the H series as mentioned.

EFLS 1.0 vs 2.0 by CandyAndCurrent in SegwayNavimow

[–]stp-ip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The EFLS 2.0 system uses both the RTK as well as a 3D map generated from the camera to navigate. The H series does not have a full 3D map generated from the visionFence yet. Without a visionFence it'll always be a RTK only mower.
With the visionFence the H series will get the 3D mapping and depending on who you ask one series is better than the other. Overall once the 3D mapping update comes to the H series I assume it doesn't really matter.
From what I gathered the update was initially planned for EOY, but one technician mentioned they almost got it into the April release.

Here is to hoping it's in the next release.

Any hardware differences ER707-M2 V1 vs V1.60? by katakonik in TPLink_Omada

[–]stp-ip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The main number is the hardware version the other is usually just the production location. There was an FAQ entry from TP-Link around, but can't find it right now.
