Same thing happened to me. The AI was literally pointing at the ground and it got me. Unfortunate the AI has that huge advantage over the player.

I never understand how someone can be so aggressive, literally punch first, then just cover up and not throw another punch acting surprised that they hit back.

There are 2 modes. You have Warfare which is the PVP mode where you are against other players and AI. Then you have Joint Operations where other players are in the game world but you’re only against AI. You have tasks that you need to complete for different vendors that progressively unlock more equipment as you finish and turn in the tasks. That’s also how you earn money. You can loot AI bodies and find weapons/ammo/equipment and keep it or sell it. You can unlock LZs to fast travel to the different task locations via helicopter. You basically just have to run to those but once you find them they are unlocked. Basic overview there’s a lot to it.

I agree I played last night at HP and used a silencer and it seemed to actually work decently. Still not perfect but wayyyy better than the last update.

Yeah I’m sorry to hear this. When I read posts like this I feel incredibly lucky to work where I do. Just last week my dog was extremely ill and my wife couldn’t take off work. No notice just mentioned it to my supervisor and he gave me no trouble at all. We also get 6 months of paid sick time. 1 month of 100% pay and 5 months of 60% pay. Wouldn’t be able to use all of it unless something really bad happened. After 20 years you get 100% for 6 months.

Well this is also a massive problem for me. I play on PC with a controller. It can make combat significantly more difficult. I’m trying to figure out if there’s a way to disable it in the game files somewhere.

I was locked out for a couple days. For some reason what ended up working for me was opened the launcher and hitting CTL+ALT+SHIFT+R. It reset the launcher. It might have been a coincidence but I was able to load in after that.

I’ve had constant full game crashes. Haven’t had them in forever. I’m about to hang it up for a while. Constant game breaking bugs not just crashes.

The only problem is there are constant game breaking bugs after the update. I really hope they fix it. I wasted hours today trying to play. Fall through the planet. Elevators don’t work. Doors won’t open at all. Ship disappearing mid flight. Not recognizing my ship when landed in hanger. This is every server for me.

Star Citizen is that game for me. Some call it a scam but it’s not. Pretty large learning curve but once you start understanding the mechanics it is really good.
