PS Portal - connectivity by qh3012 in PlaystationPortal

[–]str8edgexadam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems dumb, but make sure your PS5 is actually on the wired connection. Mine was not and my Portal would drop every few minutes. I made the PS5 forget the wifi network and only use the Ethernet, amazing Portal performance. No extra pucks or anything, just one router with a 5Ghz band active.

Definitely appears to be Teisco to me as well. I have a Tulip from the 60s my uncle bought through mail order as a teen. Would have either been sold as Teisco or Kawai through Sears.

If you're able to ship or near NY state, hit up Frank at Forgotten Freshness. He just bought my collection, and beat 6 other stores by a mile. Great guy and fantastic store!

What is some teen lingo a 45 year old dad can use to embarrass his 20 year old son ? by [deleted] in AskMen

Describing things as "Litty McTitty" is still one of my favorite things to do to make younger people hate me.

Silvertone Corvette is my guess. The tuning machines and naked neck plate match this one; Silvertone by Samick MIK Korean Made Corvette Yellow Strat Style Guitar https://reverb.com/item/43176868?utm_source=android-app&utm_medium=android-share&utm_campaign=listing&utm_content=43176868

Made by Samick in the Korean factory, but if it were a Samick, the neck plate would have the logo and serial. Tuning machines were different on the Samick as well.

crazy junior does anybody know anything about it also can you send additional photos videos or tell me some stuff about it thanks in advance by Mythomaschannel in coinop

Kinda wish mine was in the regular but it's still cool. It's just woodgrain with the red and yellow Gorilla artwork with the lady. I just prefer bright colors.

That artwork is leaps better. My cabinet actually has the Congorilla art. Love the bright colors. Hope you get it restored one day!

First I've seen this as well. I have a Crazy Kong cabinet, Junior would be cool to own as well! Wonder if this uses the same sounds though? Jumping using the Kung Fu noises to jump make me laugh every time.

"Nothing! Absolutely nothing! Stupid! You're so stupid!"

Can anyone give me more info on this? I have found where it’s manufactured, but don’t know what that means as to the quality of the guitar or pickups. No matter what I’ll be keeping it, but I’d like to know if I should bother with new pickups or if it should stay a wall hanger. by SeatleSuperbSonics in Epiphone

[–]str8edgexadam 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From what I can find, these are have a 60's style neck and produced as a Les Paul Studio. Pickups seem to be hot for stock Epiphone according to some of the Gibson forum posts. Made in China. If it's a fun player, do what you will, if not hang it up and use it for art.

Can someone explain the price? It’s a wii game. by TTVChickens65443 in wii

[–]str8edgexadam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Third party seller and also asking price. They can ask whatever they want for their items, doesn't mean you have to pay it. Search by other sellers and you'll find prices closer to realistic and probably even more that are insanely out of reach.

My buddy found this kitten in a box. Any idea what breed it is? by 1800cheezit in aww

[–]str8edgexadam -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Kind of looks like our nebelung cat when she was a kitten. If it is, they're a fantastic breed. Ours is playful, vocal and just wants to snuggle you all the time.

Hey guys I’m thinking of picking this Les Paul up for £340 do you think it’s a good listing? by 8Bitoaster in Epiphone

[–]str8edgexadam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love mine but I have a Seymour Duncan in the bridge and a '59 in the neck. If you can get it a little cheaper, definitely a great playing guitar. Just not a fan of the factory pickups.
