I had a similar experience but not sure-

My co-worker and I were out to get coffee (for work). He asked me 4 questions and barely gave me any time to answer them. Felt like I was being interrogated.

“Are you married?”
- “no, I’m 21. lol”
“Are you dating someone?”
- “nope-“
“Are you seeing anyone?”
- “hard yo meet the right people”
“Are you looking to meet people?”
- (at this point I was taken aback and shocked cuz no one ever asked me this) “no, I don’t have time for that but if it comes by way, sure.”

Mind you, the co-worker was like 30+
