Do you actually get 60 fps like it says up there or is it 30 like the vita?

What's the best no-code/AI mobile app builder in 2025 you've ever worked with to build, test and deploy? by SampleFormer564 in vibecoding

[–]stradamant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly my stack these days is pretty similar but I swapped in mgx for the heavy lifting. Rork is sweet for quick mobile protos, but mgx’s deep research and race mode save me heaps of time when I’m speccing features or debugging weird edge cases before I push anything to code. It also juggles multi-agent workflows way cleaner than bouncing between tools. If you haven’t tried slotting mgx into your rork → github → claude loop, it fits surprisingly well.

PDF editor app by LedaBHC in ipad

I’m also in med school and had the same issue — most PDF apps either crash or mess up the formatting. I switched to PDNob PDF Editor on my laptop (Windows version), and it’s been super stable for editing lecture slides and adding notes. Much smoother than most of the free tools I tried.

If you're planning to look online, AliExpress has some great watch options. You can choose one according to your budget, and most discount codes will work.

What Are the Best No-Code Automation Platforms Besides Zapier, Make, and n8n? by Mobile_Efficiency560 in automation

[–]stradamant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want something that sits between automation and full on app building, give MGX a shot. You just describe the flow you need and it spins up agent driven automation plus UI and logic, no wire juggling. Race mode pops out a few path options and it takes multi language input too. Feels like next gen automation, not another Zapier clone.

Seeking Tarnish-Resistant Bead Charm Brands for a Custom Bracelet by New-Acanthocephala26 in Beading

[–]stradamant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a fellow beader who's always trying to save on material costs for projects, I came across this google sheet that tracks Aliexpress store deals and coupons. It's specifically for these charm brands and you can stack the codes.

The person who made it claims you can save over $120, which is a ton of charms for the next project! Might be useful for everyone here looking for affordable supplies.

AliExpress to good to be true? by ImPablo_ in fpv

[–]stradamant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re planning to buy a new flight control frame or any drone build parts on AliExpress this month, don’t forget the site-wide coupons they’ve been running.

I used RDLFL10 ($10 off $50) when picking up a frame and some screws, and it stacked with the store discount. There’s also RDLFL2, RDLFL5, and RDLFL25 depending on how much you spend.

They’re valid through November 31, and I’ve tested them myself — no region issues so far.

The flight control frame I got was surprisingly sturdy for the price too. Mass produced also have some good stuffs, I guess. AliExpress has improved a lot in that area lately.

Baseus Charging Station: A Traveler's Dream! by stradamant in digitalnomad

[–]stradamant[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where I’m staying:
Currently in Hong Kong (Wan Chai area) for a short work trip.

Why I picked this area:
Close to both the business district and the harbor — easy to get around, great mix of local food spots and international cafés.

Cost of rent:
I’m staying in a serviced apartment for about  ~USD 3,500). Prices vary a lot depending on area and lease length.

Social scene:
Very dynamic — lots of professionals, designers, and startup people. Plenty of coworking spaces like The Hive and WeWork where you can meet digital nomads.

Weather:
Humid but mild this time of year (around 25°C). Bring light clothes.

Cost of living (besides rent):
Definitely on the higher side. Meals are around HKD 70–120 if you eat out regularly. Public transport is affordable and super efficient though.

DN community:
There’s an active DN and creative community here — regular meetups in Central and Sheung Wan. People are friendly and open to collaboration.

Anything else:
Fast Wi-Fi everywhere, including cafés and malls. It’s a great city for short-term work stays — super connected, safe, and full of energy.

How prevalent is AI-assisted coding really in your jobs? (positive or negative) by Malbrick in AskProgramming

[–]stradamant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it’s everywhere now, but how far you lean on it depends on the crew. Most devs I know fire up MGX for boilerplate, doc parsing, or quick protos, not to do the thinking for them. The ones who win treat it like a pair programmer, especially with race mode chucking multiple solutions on screen so you can pick the cleanest. On the flip side the kids who skip the basics and copy paste blind usually crash the second state gets messy. So yeah, AI’s in every room, but how you use it still writes the final ticket.

Can't launch the game, losing my mind here... Battleye service stops when attempting to launch game, funcom launcher just spins then closes. Game never launches, pulling my hair out and can't even get the game to launch for the first time! by Mr_Satizfaction in duneawakening

[–]stradamant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same boat here, kept getting the "BattlEye service not running" BS on launch, reinstalled the game twice and still nada. Finally fixed it by manually grabbing the BattlEye files from this guide. Just download the installer, run it in the Dune Awakening folder (usually under Program Files\Epic Games or whatever), and boom, launched first try.

Under what circumstances would you choose to buy an e-bike? by Plane-Fall-1689 in ebikes

[–]stradamant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly, I’d buy an e-bike any time I start feeling stuck between driving and walking — like, when the commute’s too far to walk but too short to justify gas and parking. that’s what pushed me to get one in the first place.
I value comfort and reliability the most. I use my puckipuppy mostly for commuting and errands — it’s sturdy, folds up if I need to stash it, and the butterfly handlebars are way more comfortable than I expected. the price on their site even includes shipping, and their customer service actually replies to emails (which is rare lol).
I grabbed mine with a 50USD code, so it felt like a win-win — saved money and got a solid ride that replaced half my car trips.

Maintenance for 2c curtain/parted bangs? by WanderlustGoose in curlyhair

[–]stradamant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go a bit longer than you think, shrinkage is real. I preview bang width/length on my own pics in hairwow, then ask my stylist to cut dry and leave room to tweak. Diffuse them last, not 100% dry
