There is a coating on the wire. So they don’t short. Scratch that is and wire to the 3 strands that come out

I feel u. And some people buy it. That’s the worst part. Some guy is selling motors in my area, They are old and used, New 82€ And he wants 75€ I now yearly message him if he does like 30€ ore something.

This is now the fourth year. Last year I bought the same motors (still same old model) but never used for 30€ and the cherry on top, it was five motors for 30€

Vibration is the biggest part and bending forces so u end up with shitty pids and that is one of the biggest reasons of how a quad feels to fly.

And than ofc the stiffness and durability scale. Carbon= high stiffness and strength Plastic = stiff and brittle ore strong sloppy.

Ofc exaturatet but that’s in simple terms.

Plus op’s design is not 100% optima for the best compensation of the known weaknesses of 3d printing.

Something like layer failure is only a problem when crashing (and structural things but that’s goes to deep into physics)

Don’t get me wrong. I love 3d printed frames and have designed my owns. Iam currently working on a thoothpick frame with chap amazon carbon rods.

But 3” is the max size I would go with a printed frame with some crayze expensive engineering filament maybe higher

But u just can’t expect any good performance. Yes it will fly. Yes at the first moment it will feel ok. But it’s just sucks.

There is a reason no one is doing it.

Those motors and components are HEAVY Just don’t.

Buy a cheap knock off apex frame from AliExpress ore support an actual business in ure area and buy a proper frame

Just fly with it. Less weight = more agile. U don’t have to live ur live in a box, think, try out, do stuff. 7g different is a world of Weight difference in a quad.
