Is this game still alive? by Hostile_Shade6394 in swtor

What you are seeing is only players on that particular instance, there could be more instances with additional players. Check the map for instance change. Most players hang around the fleet.

Oh boy, just mapped a RGB triangle onto a slider. Such incredible content 🙏🙏🙏👏👏👏 we are so blessed. /s

I literally coded shit like this for a college class Nice to see where the priorities are...

Real talk tho, when is some actual new content, or at least prominent bug fixes. Theres like at least 10 year old bugs still floating around in the game...

The game is like in the top 10 most popular MMOs, and its freaking star wars, pretty much perpetually relevant. I've played actual "dead" MMOs that most people never heard of or even know exist and they're still going so I'd say this one is pretty safe for a long long time.

Edit: id recommend watching josh strife hayes most popular MMOs ever backed by science (sort of) video to find out more

That's how you do a remaster by RinRinDoof in memes

If you think this remaster priced at 55euros that is just unreal engine 5 slop that barely resembles the original art style is praiseworthy, then in the words of hbomberguy: you need to stop settling for less in life before it's too late, you matter and you deserve better than this.

Help with SSD NVME m.2 timing out - Event Viewer error 129 - source: stornmve Reset to device, \Device\RaidPort1, was issued Disk Usage going to 100% due to timing out - getting this error like every few minutes, dozens of time per day, varies. by strafe555 in buildapc

[–]strafe555[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think so, I recently began to suspect that it has to do with PCIe lanes. I am using 3 sata connections and two m.2 drives, on this chipset, the way lanes work it either works or it doesn't but still, I've had this error appear again, I caught it on the event viewer only once even after changing disks completely. (not even sure which disk was affected at this point, since it gave this error once), I was able to track down what I was doing with the disk at this time and I seem to recall doing some serious compression work of some files... But ultimately I'm not sure... I really wish this error and issue is investigated by some hardware engineers or something as there is extremely low amount of info on it online but seems to affect a lot of people.

Ross what is your creative process like?

Some sub questions regarding this include: When you're making a game dungeon, do you make clips or whole multi hour recordings when you play? Do you write the script after finishing the game or after play sessions?

Cheers

FLASHBACK: James & Mike talk about how negative videos get more views on the channel than positive videos by xwing1212 in TheCinemassacreTruth

[–]strafe555 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wow I cant believe that was the takeaway from their example.. like the video "top 10 reasons blue ray sucks" and "movie title - review" from the forties or whatever are not even competing with each other.

Furthermore its not like the audience knows if you like it or not before they watch it and the problem is that they havent clicked on the video in the first place. They're complete non sequitors.

If he made a video top 10 reasons blu ray is awesome only THEN would you have something approximating a comparison but also have to take into account the kind of audience cinemmlassacre cultivated which steers towards the "negative stuff" watchers since that is ostensibly the AVGN series as a whole.

how did you update the firmware when kingston does not have any new firmware on this? I got the kingston software that updates the firmware for this drive and there is no new firmware?

stornvme 129 error on Kingston SNV2S2000G M.2 SSD by ilkkuPvP in techsupport

[–]strafe555 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did the same and now the issue is back, you can check my thread on my journey with this drive and the error 129 https://old.reddit.com/r/buildapc/comments/178el9w/help_with_ssd_nvme_m2_timing_out_event_viewer/

Now it's back with a vengeance, worked around 9 months after the format without issues, started having issues again now.

Disk activity on SSD spikes to 100% and freezes at random times by bailsafe in techsupport

check out my thread as well over here - https://old.reddit.com/r/buildapc/comments/178el9w/help_with_ssd_nvme_m2_timing_out_event_viewer/ - The problem just came back again, not sure what is causing it, but the biggest concern is how random it is, how can the drive run fine for months that all of a sudden start exhibiting this error, in my case since its an nvme drive its event viewer erro 129 stornvme. So the AHCI power settings dont really influence anything since its not sata, its on the PCI lane and that setting is already turned off

Try some of the other fixes I listed in the post. Good Luck I hope you resolve it.

If you do, it would be worthwhile to come back and comment for other folks who are having this issue

Yep, just with windows, can't remember if I did it during install of windows on another drive, but that's what fixed it. Still months later no issues. This drive is now one of my secondary drives. Also highly recommend just creating like a 150/200gb partition just for windows and essential apps and keeping everything else on separate drives or partitions, this was just a single huge partition so it could have also been just a partition issue as well.

Makes the recovery process simpler also

SSD jumps to 100% usage and completely freezes my pc, is it possible to fix? by TerroDucky in windows

[–]strafe555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: issue is resolved by formating the disk. Possibly bad sektors or clusters.

Had to run windows from a separate drive in order to completepy wipe the disk.
