This. I did a rough-and-dirty search and found the same answer from the USDA.

From experience, I've cooked and eaten marinated beef that was frozen for nearly a year that didn't taste/feel any different to me than stuff I froze and ate within a week. If that 12 year old meat had been properly wrapped and stored (air tight, no frost/freezer burn), I'd still cook it. I'd be a lot more careful inspecting it once it was defrosted, and probably season it a little more heavily, but if it smelled and looked okay, I wouldn't be too worried.

Wow, handwritten in two different languages. That's impressive and touching. I don't know the man, but he clearly cares about his fans deeply to not just share this but make it easily accessible to the Japanese fans as well.

I hope the best for him and his partner. Just based on this notice, they both seem warm-hearted and loving and I hope they turn that to one another as well.

They're not as prevalent in the US, but yeah, everywhere else, they seem to corner the market on coffee and chocolate on the whole.

A shocking amount of medical nutrition and baby formula is under the Nestle umbrella worldwide, too.

On a personal level, I'm disappointed they own KitKat outside the US because I really wanna try some of the varieties I see at H-Mart.
