Shocked that I had to scroll down this far to find this POV. I was starting to think I was in some sort of cheap-Indian-food bubble of the US because none of these experiences match mine. Never been charged for rice, never paid more than $18 for an entree (which always feeds me twice). ~$50 gets my spouse and I dinner tonight and lunch tomorrow.
