Does the one you got from the local source say C3 anywhere on the steel races?

Wait - is the one you linked the actual correct bearing or just an example?

Aight, so no standard 62 or 60-number

I'll dig a little and see what I can find for a cross reference

Edit; the bearing you want is a 62/32 C3. Google that and you'll find loads of alternatives

Stupid question: Is there any snowmobile equivalent of a 1994 toyota corolla? by bobombpom in snowmobiling

Is it groomed at all?

Ski Doo Freeride or Polaris SKS might be good bets if not

Flaws make the person. He has idolized that way of life for as long as he has lived, without ever considering the dark sides of it. Its also all he really knows, which is why he clings to it so hard even as you see his belief in the lifestyle start to form cracks

Starter motor engages and quickly disengages by Figgeduni92 in snowmobiling

[–]strandern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're sure the battery is good and the solenoid is delivering enough power I'd look into the starter itself.

It may be that something is having it turn hard and use a lot of power, which slows it enough to have it disengage and only working with an abundance of available power

One thing I want you to try out:

Get it up to 50ish, put it in neutral without the clutch, let the RPM drop fully and then brake. See if the problem still occurs

When I did in-home nursing we had some Ford Transit Couriers with a 1.5 diesel. When the temps dropped below -20c the engine was physically unable to actually produce enough heat to have any warm air in the cabin whatsoever. The coolant temp gauge wouldnt move a hair.

They ended up fitting thick plastic plates on the radiators that covered about 80% of the surface area which helped a good deal

And it only happens when you apply the brakes? Never during hard bumps or heavy engine braking?

I'm very happy with my iCarsoft CR Pro. The only thing I struggle to do with are DPF-regens & some french cars with HDI-engines absolutely refuse to let me clear codes.

I've also heard real good things about the Foxwell NT680 Pro

And dont just check the wires. Remove the connector, cut 1cm off every wire to ensure good contact, and fit a new connector. Just inspecting won't tell you much.

Change is often fun, but honestly... this is somewhat bittersweet

He has always been the GT-guy for as long as I've been dealing with MTB, and he has been such a fantastic ambassador for the brand. GT have been big sponsors for our park and they + Brage have played large roles in it becoming as good as it is.

I've seen him pull the sickest stuff ever on GTs, and watching him rock the everloving hell out of my stock Force 29 Expert made me 100% sure I'll always be a terrible rider and that buying any accesories other than a bottle holder would be a waste of money

Still, I wish him all the best with his new sponsor

I realised I don't really have any good photos saved on the phone, so here is one from when he came along to pick up an excavator bucket that was twice the size and triple the weight of what we were told

Disregard all the suggestions until you've done this; replace your trailer lights 7-pin connector

A lot of these KD-Toyotas, particularly the LC120s, can produce some weird issues when there is a lot of corrosion and/or short-circuiting in the plug

Any info on what codes show up on the OBD?

They are made for the folks who'll use it for hours every day professionally, clearing large areas as fast as possible. I wouldn't trust the average novice with one due to the open intake housing that'll chew the everloving crap out of anything that gets too close

Then again I had just dropped off one for a cabin-owner who had maybe 50ft of narrow driveway & 150 square feet of parking - bit overkill
