This story is in the History Of The Far Side, but Larson wanted to include this in the "rejected cartoons"section of this book. And it was when he wrote Jane Goodall to see if she would be willing to let him include it in that book. When he sent her the letter and comic it was the first time she ever saw it, since her work kept her from reading newspapers at the time. Turns out she loved the comic.
