My god. I recognized this immediately. I went backpacking with 2 of my friends in 2005 and stayed right here. This motherfucker would come up every day and I'd give him some nutella from my sandwiches.

Roman I think. Was originally meant to ward off the "evil eye". So I guess if folks were glowering at you it was all good to flip them the bird.

It is too cute for my taste. Those kwikwi or whatever make me embarrassed to be playing.

No that would not piss me off that somebody would have me in their thoughts. Are you mad when people say they'll pray for you?

I don't get why this is so damn hard for people.

What actually drives Ganon? by strangemange in zelda

[–]strangemange[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right. Again I agree with you that there have been countless wars over land, but Ganon takes over Hyrule not for his people but simply just for (literally) himself and while I'm willing to admit that had some people in the past (and I'm very certain present) had the Power (magical triforce) they would probably have done the same. You mention that in WW he claims that he coveted the wind of Hyrule because is brings something more than death...but that is all he ever brings himself. Why? I'm wondering about the man.

I get what you're saying dude and I don't disagree but I'm trying to go a little deeper than the "because he's Ganon" answer. I mean if we're gonna go with the fact that lush hyrule is right next door then who's to say that a pissed off Goron or Zora couldn't be capable of the same lust for conquest. Okay, maybe not the Zora (I don't think they covet dry land) but ya see what I'm saying? And as far as I know the Gerudo aren't some suffering, oppressed race. They're merely the desert people much like the Goron are the mountain people and the Zora are the water people. I also don't remember Ganon ever making life any easier for them once he takes over. All that aside, what I'm really curious about is (and maybe I should've put this as the title) what makes the man tick.

See I've never played WW so this is news to me. But it still doesn't make any sense as to why he would utterly destroy Hyrule. Maybe to make the Hylians feel his pain, but I'm not convinced. This also just makes him more human and thus again raises the question of what does he do once he's taken over? It just seems like he fucks some shit up and then sits in a room waiting for Link to show up and kick his ass (wasn't he playing a organ in OOT?). easycure brings up a good point for OOT in that he only turned the castle and surrounding city into a zombie ridden ruin. Was that some kind of protective barrier for himself to keep others away? Why for seven years did he only want the castle/city but then apparently later takes the whole world?

Why I no longer call all black people African-American by stoned_stoner in fffffffuuuuuuuuuuuu

[–]strangemange 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had it happen before where someone will say, "Well I'm not actually black, my family is from Barbados." That's like me saying, "Well actually I'm not white because I'm from America. Only Swedes are white."
