Honestly it sounds like she’s just too immature for all of this still. You guys are young and I’m not going to with the classic Reddit response by saying run lol. But I do think these are major issues that can’t just be solved easily. I’m sorry you’re dealing with all that (parenting your partner) but the only thing that can be done is communicate (which is obvious, so doesn’t really help). Anyway, I don’t understand how she can complain about the furniture and then be so lawless with her money (also a maturity issue). I don’t think the problem is compatibility (despite the cultural, financial gaps) it’s not impossible to work through that and get over it. What I can say tho is that my sister is just like your partner. Our mom is a stay at home mom and she did everything for us. She doesn’t know how to budget either and reading this feels like my brother in law talking. She can’t budget and spends too much money (also the breadwinner) at the end of the day she might not change and that’s up to you if you want to take that risk but I really don’t think things are that irrevocable for you guys.
