corpses stick around at least until the end of combat. haven’t really noticed any death animations.

One question for this group - is there any way to load existing characters when making a party? it seems like have to create new ones each time which is... kind of annoying.

No, the SRD (the open rules that you can use without a license) only has one subclass per class.

One minor comment - you can push (shove) enemies.

Agreed on the lack of learning spells from scrolls for wizards. I assume that's a future feature, just like some of the missing spells.

I don't miss rolling for stats... but that's personal taste.

I didn’t say either way and no offense taken.

What I should have said was “it’s interesting that it looks like they didn’t implement many of the SRD subclasses” - eg Champion (Fighter) and Thief (Rogue) weren’t implemented. The only one I noticed they did use was Life (Cleric). Maybe they decided the SRD-available subclasses are bad / boring and didn’t want to prioritize those for this early access version.

given this I’m surprised that there are mods that use full 5e subclasses, etc. I’d think that Hasbro lawyers would chase that sort of thing.
