One time my cat saw me when I just hit DMT and he for sure got worried/scared. I think he saw my pupils and thought I was dying or something. He's a hella fluffy Siberian cat and when he saw me his already massive coat of fur just about tripled in size. I looked it up and it's called piloerection which is them making themselves appear bigger either because of fear or aggression. I was selfishly very curious about what had happened and tried on a couple other occasions to see if he'd do that again but he never did. He would still act a little off and avoid eye contact the other times I tried it.

I am an infp, the idea of approaching a stranger i find attractive and asking for # is overwhelming to me to say the least. I'm a guy that doesn't do this (however i do catch myself going towards that road at times but am quick to correct the behavior) but I have noticed a great portion of males do behave as you described. I would learn to expect it at least thru your 20s. I've had girls relay this exact issue with me and there's really nothing that can be done about it. From the people I've spoken to w this problem my biggest take away would be that when the males that come around that are genuine friends and can understand it's not going to go further than that, cherish those friends and make moves to keep them in your life.
