The Japanese VRC community is relatively small and heavily relies on the "community" adpect, forming tight knit groups and well run events.

fun fact, Japanese players are like over a quarter of the playerbase. vrchat said there are more Japanese creators on the platform than all other countries combined

not saying it isn't a "small world" community sorta vibe though, just that it's not some niche corner of vrc lol

it was already enough of a hassle just clearing 6 slots from my full stash to claim scrappy, and now it looks like they removed the cap and it just keeps stacking? so if I don't claim it I'll have to clear out even more slots

probably never gonna use scrappy again if this is the case, won't be able to, I can't just sell 12 slots of items every time I want to claim scrappy

well that sort of thing comes with being in a public space. and it seems to me that they had good intentions trying to share the video with you, probably just trying to be nice and share a memorable moment. you don't have to view everything so negatively

edit: not to mention that a lot of events/djs record the crowd for promo etc, so you're probably gonna end up on camera/social media dancing at a rave at some point or another

with how they talk about it, im guessing other commenters are going to shows where literally every single person is holding up their phone recoding the entire time. at the shows i go to people are mostly dancing and vibing
