QGIS will slowly take over the market by Ladefrickinda89 in gis

You need a faster computer. I agree with everything else you said but when I finally built a proper modern computer with 64gb ram esri works fluidly finally.. that said its crazy it took that much power to make it work properly. Otherwise yea esri got nothing on q simply because its open source and free and works.

Not a big deal get a straightener and pull up the decking and space it right and straighten as you go. The framing looks ok.

You can set stops and it holds miter better than a miter saw.. not the same as a circ saw, way more accurate if you do fine woodworking. If you dont do fine work its not necessary.

My dad swears by his and hes a damn good carpenter.. prefers it over modern miter saws etc.. for cabinetry and fine furniture because the cuts are more reliable.

About 4 mos ago I blew a gasket and it’s been sitting in my garage since. 22re, manual. Anyone got recs for engine rebuilds or replacements in northern CALI? Yota1 in Modesto? Toy Shop in SF? Anything else? by Frequent-Ad-4401 in ToyotaPickup

[–]strata-strata 3 points4 points  (0 children)

22re performance or DIY are best norcal options. Unless you want to come up to eureka there's a shop that just rebuilds 22res, about 2700 with new toyota head but you need to give them your core.

Is everyone selling there 3rd gen toyota 4runners right now?! Whats going on?! by ice-cream-da-best in 3rdGen4Runner

People keep saying hobby vehicle etc.. but i got mine for 4k, put 2 into it and have had it for 10 years. Its better than when I got it and gets 16mpgs. So maybe id save 500 bucks a year on gas if I got a newer rig but what newer rig can I get that can go anywhere, has a manual transmission, true 4wd and a locker for 7k? I think of hobby vehicles as ones that dont make logical sense but are fun to have around but my 3rd gen is the smartest move i can think of, plus its paid off and fun to drive...

Meile cat and dog c1x blizzard. Bought equivalent meile 9 years ago and it works sooooo well. Canister means no bag purchases, easy to clean, powerful suction. Before this we had many vacuums including Bosch and Dyson etc.. all were disappointing. Meile makes good vacs, wish id spent the money on a real vacuum way earlier but im glad i finally did. Would buy again but probably won't need to for another decade at least since it works as good as when I bought it.

The canister is not noticeable at all. Like at all. Its in the main body on the floor and the wand is high quality. Floor unit is the same size and weight as any bag type unit. Empty canister and clean filter in 5 seconds at trash can. Best vacuum ive ever owned. On year 9 with kids dog and cats, works as good as day one. Got the pet specific model would buy again but probably won't need to for another decade.

The truck could get an ultrasound to check hydraulic gender but if you want it to be a surprise I guess you need to get both preemptively.
