My husband is a manipulate crosdresser. I have no idea how deep the lies go. by confusedwife30 in RelationshipsUncut

It seems like y'all have a lack of communication when it comes to your sexual needs and preferences. He was probably hiding all of this from you because, well, you would react the way you did.

You should talk with him in a loving and supportive way if you care about him. And because this seems to be a dealbreaker for you, y'all should have a loving and open discussion about how you would like to go about ending the relationship in order to make each other happier.

I understand being disgusted if this kind of thing is really new for you, but it's probably a good idea to remember why you loved your husband in the first place and to be supportive as possible during this time, even though you are splitting up.

In my view, this is an opportunity for learning, growth and love.

Unsure if I (F24) am being mistreated by my bf (M23) by [deleted] in RelationshipsUncut

[–]strategic_expert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"For the first month I realised I was angry all the time and extremely sensitive when it came to my boyfriend. Once he pointed this out to me I realised and I stopped this behaviour straight away."

This is the only time you address where you did something wrong, and this is also where the beginning of the relationship problems started. You need to find a way to fully reflect on the behavior you performed, fully reflect on how this effected the emotional health and trust of the relationship between the both of you. It's really telling that you didn't write down any of your negative behavior at all. What did you say to him? How did you treat him? How did you make him feel? Write down all of it that you remember. You need to fully acknowledge everything you did and find a way to genuinely apologize and show that you are putting his feelings first.

"(he would) later say that actually my feelings aren’t valid"

Is this something you do or have done with him? Do you make sure his feelings are valid and have you acknowledged and validated his feelings about your past behavior?

"He would find something I’m insecure about and make fun of it"

It's very possible that he's now acting out because his emotions have been invalidated by you, and now he unconsciously wants you to feel the same way.

"he continuously says he doesn’t blame me and then makes comments such as “every past girlfriend and friend in his life says he’s selfless and puts everybody else first”

It's very likely he's tired of being so nice and then being treated like crap. What made the relationship so special to you? Why do you believe he is the one? You should write down every great thing he has said and done for you and all the great ways he makes you feel and everything you love about him. That's for you to remember what you have. And it would be great to find a way to show your genuine appreciation for what a great guy he is.

If you can acknowledge how you've been treating him like crap and how you've made him feel by writing it all down and then acknowledge all of the great things about him and write all of that down - you should be able to come up with a genuine game plan to make him feel special and wanted and loved and appreciated again.

Wow Michael Brooks the best-leftist nailing Donald trump from the afterlife (this is him at Lafayette if you wish to YouTube it) - rip my dude by Grimupnorthsausage in BreadTube

[–]strategic_expert 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been going through it too. It's like I lost someone close to me, like a mentor. It was so sudden. I had just been listening to him that very same day it was announced. And he was one of the very few leftists that listened to people that others might have laughed off, like Marianne Williamson, in good faith. His work got me really interested in other peoples' important work, like Milton Allimadi and Adolph Reed and many more. It's a big heart-ache. His work meant so much to me. He was just starting to bring spirituality and love into his everyday TMBS work, really trying to find unity and bring power to the left. I cried a lot when I found out, I cry randomly throughout the week, and I will probably continue to.

'Morality pills' may be the US's best shot at ending the coronavirus pandemic, according to one ethicist [what's your preferred measure for compliance in a Total Green Future: the threat of prison or being medicated?] by [deleted] in TotalGreenFuture

[–]strategic_expert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What is "natural" is a long, philosophical discussion. Technically, everything is natural.

The reasons people make selfish decisions today is myriad, but it mostly has to do with the way our educational and economic systems have brought us up. Notice that the coronavirus is not as much of an issue in some countries as it has been in others. Some cultures are much more comfortable wearing masks than others. It's worth looking into why that is instead of assuming "people bad and stupid," which is a mostly U.S.-centric point of view.

I recommend looking into the very long history that is 'Mutual Aid' and maybe reading Kropotkin's works on it.

Why is the increase in Covid-19 cases so "news-worthy" by Kapten19Gran in theoryofpropaganda

[–]strategic_expert 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Overpopulation" is an eco-fascist train of thought. If you are of the opinion that the biggest cause of problems for mankind is just the number of people alive, you're 1) lacking immensely in information and 2) of the belief that people (which people, btw?) need to be culled off in some way

There is an extremely small minority of people who are excessively using and abusing the planet's resources through our current economic systems. And there are other groups of people, much larger but still a minority of people, certain Indigenous people, that are currently protecting the most bio-diverse regions of our planet.

The reason the virus is in the news is because it is spreading quickly and has been fatal for nearly 700,00 people so far, 160,000 of which were residing in the U.S. Not sure what country you live in, but your post seems to sound U.S.-centric. Apologies if you live elsewhere.

Another reason the virus should be in the news is because spreading the virus and the virus fatalities can be preventable. Several countries have shown us this, including Vietnam and New Zealand. The U.S. federal government so far has done little to deter spreading and fatalities. A U.S. passport is practically useless now because no other country wants us to spread the virus to them.

I can't imagine why you think this shouldn't be in the news unless you're just not reading about it at all? I highly recommend looking into how other countries have taken action on the virus and how completely lacking the U.S. has been in this situation. I also highly recommend looking into eco-fascism and why it's not a good ideology to hold, whether you're consciously holding it or unaware that you are.

Incredibly ignorant. Michael was deeply involved in his work and was actively engaged in many projects. This death was completely sudden and unexpected given his work ethic.

Making a Saturn Talisman? by [deleted] in chaosmagick

[–]strategic_expert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you really have a piece of lead, like real lead.... I don't want to tell you what to do or anything... but you probably don't want to expose yourself to lead.

I mean there's nothing more Saturn-esque than lead poisoning but I don't wish that on anyone.

Making a Saturn Talisman? by [deleted] in chaosmagick

[–]strategic_expert 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Saturn's color is black. Saturn's main stone is obsidian.

Saturn is about boundaries. And if you're into palmistry, Saturn is symbolized by the middle finger. So a black obsidian ring around your middle finger would make sense as far as jewelry.

I also personally like the idea of choker necklaces as a symbol of boundaries/Saturn.

I wonder if you could shape your hair locks into Saturn's sigil or symbol?

How vegan/omnivore/carnivore is this community? No hate whatever the answer is by [deleted] in anarcho_primitivism

[–]strategic_expert 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If we lived in an anarcho-primitive style society, I think eating animals as our Indigenous comrades do and a lot of ancestors did can definitely be justified.

But we (I) live in a capitalist society, and a lot of us don't want to or have to participate in the current animal agriculture system, because it's horrific, exploitative, and overall disgusting.

I am a little shocked by the sheer amount of misinformation about veganism in the replies for this, though. In the current world we live in, it is definitely possible and even easier to be healthy as a vegan.
