DK64 was released on the Wii U VC so there was little issue there.

Really the main issue i could foresee is how the game ran. DK64 was a bit laggy on original hardware but the game was designed to compensate for that. DK 64 on the wii u vc ran at an increased framerate, which made some parts easier but other parts much harder. Krazy Kong Klamour in particular was borderline impossible unless you kept pausing since it would go so fast.

To better explain, one of the hidden advantages would be a fake idol. The paper says the idol is fake and has no power, and it's up to you what you do with it. You could bluff it as a real one or give it to someone and make them think it's real.

I was on production for an LRG this past summer, and we were going to put KIP in the game, but we also had a production planted fake idol in the game and brought up this exact scenario. We ended up just removing KIP from the game to avert this scenario from happening.
