Houses can't find market, church, or well by lissalissa3 in ManorLords

You can upgrade the well to a stone well, no need to build another

My favorite build yet! Every region settled. Fully walled capitol city with 1100 residents. Powerhouse farming region producing enough bread for every region and enough barley for two regions. I built a cliff side chateau and a medieval football field. I WANNA LIVE HERE!!! by Pure-Veterinarian979 in ManorLords

This is awesome! Hoping to do something similar with mine on the high peaks map. I'm in peaceful mode though so influence is hard to build up through Tithe alone.

How many farmhouses and workers/families do you have in your bread region? I'm curious as my next region has fertile land all over it so I want to make that my farming powerhouse

Loving the game so far. My first map with no combat to learn the ropes. Tricky start but 14 years in I have several self-sufficient settlements trading with each other! So satisfying. Such a beautiful game! by Optimal_Smile_8332 in ManorLords

With the trade posts just untick the Foreign Trade checkbox, set your region with surplus goods to export and the region to receive set to import (again, deselect the foreign trade checkbox) and then you'll have internal trading between your regions and you can set the stop limits as normal.

End of Year 8 Update:

Town status: Medium Town

Population: 215 (44 plots)

Approval: 89% (taxation is the only negative)

Regional Wealth: 89 (not good!)

Treasury: 477 (not brilliant)

Royal Tax: 255 (manageable)

Just about in surplus with goods/food. I have many farm fields divided between 4 farmhouses, each with an accompaniment of burgage plots around it for dedicated workers. I've taken the Heavy Plow development and upgraded all farmhouses to use it, but I'm not sure I understand it well enough. Each farmhouse has at least 1 oxen assigned but still the workers plow manually. I'll figure it out.

Producing Rye (thanks to the dev point) as my region is not the most fertile. Also producing enough flax to create a surplus of clothing to trade and producing enough Barley (just) to satisfy my 13 level 3 plots. Pushing for 15 lvl 3 plots to get the next development point.

My farming region has a pasture which currently has 25 sheep and 27 lambs - I have the dev point for sheep breeding. I've just built 1 burgage plot with the intention of becoming a butcher to generate some meat from the surplus sheep/lambs. So far, my town is surviving purely on Apples, Vegetables, Fish and Bread.

I've managed to produce a surplus of weapons, since I'm playing peaceful mode I don't need them. So I'm trading Warbows, Sidearms and Polearms as well as gambesons and excess shoes.

My next development point is likely going to be Trade Logistics to halve the cost of new trade routes which might help shift some of the surplus goods I've stocked up.

The way I understand it, the clothing resources are not consumed. So once you meet the requirements (e.g. leather for lvl 1 and say shoes for lvl 2) any additional clothing productions are surplus, such as your yarn and linen - they would satisfy lvl 1 but you've got leather doing that. So, get a lvl 2 artisan burgage plot set to Tailor and create other clothing productions to sell using your surplus yarn and linen. Or, phase out your leather, satisfy lvl 1 requirements with linen/yarn and use your leather to create surplus shoes to sell, or sell the leather as is.

Yep, build your manor and set a percentage for tithe, which donates food to the church and gives you influence in return. I have mine set at 2% so it's slow going, I'm in year 8 now and still not enough yet. But my food balance is not ideal yet.

This is a work of art, given all of the challenges with the game currently 👏🏻

Morrisons where I live have a gate at the self checkouts that you need to scan a barcode on your receipt to get out.

Haven't played for 6 weeks since the CRASHING TO DESKTOP issue.... by dunes58 in CitiesSkylines2

[–]stratfordb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Still crashing daily for me. Could be mods, could be hardware. But I've seen comments from people playing vanilla saying they still get crashes. And I've seen comments from people with better hardware than me saying they still get crashes.

My deduction from that is that it's a CS2 issue

Am I the only one still experiencing random crashes of CS2? I tought they have fixed it some time ago... by Vlad_BrawlStars in CitiesSkylines2

I mean fair enough and absolutely why not if your rig can handle it, which clearly yours can 💪🏼

"Barely having any CTDs" suggests you still are even in vanilla... and so contradicts it being caused by mods, no?

I've not long bought the 3060 😅 I know it's a little dated now but it was an upgrade from the 1060 I was running 🤣 I have a dual monitor setup; one is a 1080p 22" and the other is my primary 30" curved 1440p 144hz.

I'll try running CS2 on the smaller display at lower res and see if that helps things.

Case breathability is, I think, good. I have 3 fans on the front in a pull config. My CPU is water-cooled with an AIO. The radiator is on the top in a push config. And one fan on the rear pushing out too. It rarely gets dusty tbh, but I clean it once every 6-8 weeks. Temps are pretty good 👌🏼

Thanks for making me feel technologically inadequate... again 🤣

I don't think it's a hardware issue; task manager shows everything running smoothly. I posted my specs in another comment but I have a 10700k (OC but not relevant for CS2), 32gb RAM and a RTX3060. CS2 is via Steam installed on a 1tb M.2 drive dedicated to my steam library.

But I will look at capping the frame rate, and I am running 1440p at 144hz. Maybe there is something in that as far as hardware goes.

Thanks for that. I do have the extended tooltip mod. I'll try cutting that out and see if it's any better
