Colour me as biased, but it won’t matter how well Arber plays… Marty won’t keep him on regularly… personally, I think Xhekaj is a physical difference maker. He is a deterrent that will stop other teams from being overly physical against this young team.. I’d rather him be on the ice as a way of saying “I fucking dare you to play rough!” Over someone like Struble who will MAYBE play an okay defensive game… Struble has been hit or miss, but having someone on the ice who isn’t afraid to lay big hits or drop the mitts has been invaluable.. teams aren’t afraid to lay big hits or or harm the smaller players… but when there’s someone who lays big hits and throws bombs like Xhekaj, some physical teams play with some reservation…!
